I highly doubt we'll be waiting until 2015 for a new album. The guys love playing live so they wouldn't want to wait so long.

I agree with some of the stuff that's been said in this thread. The new album came out only 2 1/2 months ago... don't worry about this stuff! I completely trust Green Day with how long they decide to work on an album, they know what they're doing so even if it takes long, it's worth it. We all saw how much this new album is worth it.

And gaah, guys... don't say that Green Day's ending any time soon. Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre are going to be playing well into their 80s. I don't see them making a final record for years to come. Just because they're getting older doesn't really mean anything. Look at The Rolling Stones!

I'd be willing to wait as long as it takes. I'm quite proud of how faithful I remained during the wait for 21CB! Five years is a long time, man. Although considering they still made TV appearances and stuff in 06, it didn't feel exactly like 5 years. It was still horrifically long, though.

2015... I hope this is just a coincidence. That's a long fucking time away. I'll be finished with college by then! :/

they said in many interviews from before the album came out that, admittedly they took a lot longer than they wanted to for this album, and they wanted to put albums out faster. i'm not gonna look for the interviews, but you can. look for ones from late 08 through may 09
