there r inconsistencies in yur pattern. u r forgetting that there is a lapse of 2 years between both slappy hours and kerplunk and between kerplunk and dookie. not to mention the albums they did on the side like stop drop and roll!!! and money money 2020.

i think that after putting out so many albums in the 90's they needed a rest but i think they're gonna start pumping out albums again like they used to.

Well they could do some more stuff with the FBHT as well, since a new album for the FBHT was in the works from what I understood , combined with the new album for The Network and them possibly doing shows as either band it could be some time before the next Green Day album would be put out there .

Why worry about that now though lets focus on 21st Century Breakdown right now with the tour coming up plus more videos to be made for all the other singles that will be put out from the album as well

Is Shenanigans really only B-sides and covers? I know "Outsider" is a cover, but I thought all the rest of it was new at the time...

It's one of my favorite albums, even though it gets a lot of shit...haha

Shannies is all Dookie, Insomniac, nimrod and Warning Bsides. With some covers and soundtrack songs, Haha Your Dead is the onlynewie, recording the year it was released I think.

Hopefully they'll release the next one earlier! Or at least release another FHT album.

Sadly, the trend might continue. They are touring for a while so that slows down the process. Not to mention they are making another The Network album. Oh well, it will be worth the wait like 21CB.

I know I'm not. I have the cd on repeat for the past month already. And the tour hasn't even started yet. We waited 6 years for this album and already your all thinking about the next one? wow that's really fucked up. What is it you listen to it a few times and then it's like "ok I'm ready for the next one."

I completely agree with you. We just got an awesome album, and already they want another? Pretty fucked up, that's for sure. Give GD time to relax, will ya?

O.k I gotta say I think saying it's fucked up is wrong. We all are excited for Green Day. We love new Green Day music. Yes it's way to early to be thinking of a new album but it's not fucked up in any way. It's just the excitement of thinking what does the band have in store for us next.

Like I said before I doubt we'll have to wait 6 years this time around sounds like Billie doesn't want to do another Rock Opera for a while a new Network album is in the works and maybe a FBHT album also I think he's hinting on something with this "China Punk" album as well.

Also if we can also have hope a few b sides will be released with each single so there's always hope of new GD music in the near future.
