back when the song 21cb was leaked, i read the lyrics and instead of saying 'my name is no one' it said and actual name instead of 'no one' so why was it changed?

You know when in 21st Century Breakdown (song) he says 'These scars on my...'

AND IN CHOCOLATE RAIN TRE COOL SAYS, "These scars on my... oh wait! I'm reading the wrong song...'

Anyone else catch that?

I would ask if Tre read the lyrics to the new song by accident. Sounds like something he might do...

Yeah, there was a thread about it some time ago.

It'd be nice to know.

Omg, I remember that. That would be a great question.

^^ Yeah it would be great question.

So, now I'm thinking, when did they came up with this song....

Must have been years ago! I mean, if that was what was what he was really reading, cuz the Chocolate Rain Tre Cool video has been around for years, right?

^Nah not that long, it's from 2007. So right in the middle of them working on the album :sherlock:. I bet that is what he was reading.

I would ask, what do you say in KYE, rahey, wahey, right here?

This :D

I would ask, why did you use the n word?

And why are the lyrics so vague in the rock opera sense?

Probably the same reason Billie used the words 'Fag' and 'Faggot' in AI, it's just a word that fit, it went well with the song.

Or,

It's just a word, granted you wouldn't call a black guy a Nigger to his face but another black guy could and the first black guy a Nigger without getting killed.

Maybe Billie thinks it's stupid that you have to be black to say it.

hmm thats a good way to think about it

I would ask how much Shakespeare he'd read or whether Salad days was just a reference to the Monty Python sketch.

:)

Aaah, language difficulties..

Why use the word 'Niggers'?

And, in the demo he sings 'raised in the barnyards', but in the final version 'raised in an era', why changing to that? Just like changing 'Your long lost son' to 'the long lost son.'

Oh yes, and if Tre really IS singing the lyrics from 21CB in Chocolate Rain

I'd ask "who are the bastards of 1969"?

'cause I watched an interview where BJ said it was someone close to him... so I have my opinion but I'd like to be sure 'cause my idea is so weird

i could probably ask a lot of really great questions, but i was just listening to Viva La Gloria and i was wondering....

Weather the storm and dont look back on last November

what was so important about november? was there a really signifigant thing that happened?

I would ask why some songs have the same parts

Song of the Century is the beginning American Eulogy

the beginning of 21st Century Breakdown is the music of See The Light

I would also ask why there are two "Viva La Gloria" 's one with ? and one with !

I would ask that one with Glorias, great one! :)

^ well i think about the glorias, that one is celebrating who gloria is, and the other is asking if gloria's the same girl she was thought to be.

*GASP* I never noticed that! *runs off to check*

EDIT: OMG! Tre is such a silly billy :P

He actually looks nervous when he sang that, after that line, no other lyric came out right :P

Then shortly after he stops singing... :D I think those are lyrics from 21CB

I'd ask: Why did you change the last part of 21CB (the song)?

i think 21st CB has to be one of the first songs they wrote, because it's the base for the whole album in my opinion.

It's the year his wife was born, I saw that interview where he messed around and wouldn't say who it was but he's definitely said so in other interviews. I'm pretty sure he's picked that year to represent his generation. Just like 'Class Of 13', with 2013 being the year his son graduates, represents the new young generation.

That's the impression I've got from the song and what they've said about it in interviews anyway, but I'm sure Billie could say more about it :D
