Agija Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Wow. They're awesome. I'd love to see those graffiti somewhere in my town.
farley drexel hatcher Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 That stuff in Hollywood is really cool but I wonder how long it'll be last for without someone wrecking it all.

music_that_is Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 They're all awesome. I love stencil art, I hope i could see such things here. Hmm maybe I should do some!
Femme Gauche Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Wow, that's really cool about the real art. I was wondering where that was. At first I wasn't sure if it was a real place but then it seemed it was...
Eirik Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Ok thanks I don't know which one I helped with, but you're welcome.
gdpunk2 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Thats pretty damn cool. I was reading the recent NME article and it said:Green Day promoted the album on the kind of platform usually reserved for big-budget films rather than the latest album from a bunch of snotty Cali-punksI dident know how they did this when I first read it but when I saw these images I suddenyl thought 'Oh Yeah'. But what kind of movie gets projected on the side of buildings
elanorelle72 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 We have an issue with Grafitti here in my city...but no body seems to be touching posters etc stuck on telephone poles........I will stencil and colour some pieces of paper randomly in my village...everyone does that sort of thing
lookoutrebelgirl Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 That is an AWESOME find!! Nice detective work!Thank you!holy shit!! that's freaking awesomeThank You!

Femme Gauche Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I didnt even think for a second that it was real and up somewhere until I saw it.Yeah, it's true, you wouldn't expect that. It's just some album art, after all, right? But then some of them looked like real photos... it's pretty cool.

lookoutrebelgirl Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 This is cool and all but THE ACTUAL ART, lyrics from the lyrics page, the pictures of the boys and the REAL front cover picture are in an alley in atwater California. Heres a video of it and some pictures. If you look at the know your enemy lyrics youll see the exact same three lines next to it as in the booklet. The bricks are the same to. This is located in an alley behind Glendale Blvd and between Edenhurst and Glenfeliz in atwater village california.Video of art workAnd there are more picture at my photobucket hereSo I just went back and I was lookimg around more ans I found this Its the modern world lyrics but its not the ones from the booklet. It seems like maybe the didnt like the way it looked and desided to put it on a flat wall instead or maybe even that they hadnt desided to make modern world and mass hysteria one one song yet which I think is really interesting. I also found this image You can barely see it because it was behind a dumster and the person I was with didnt want me to move it because "we might get in trouble" (not very punk rock) but on Sunday Im going back to take more pictures and I plan to move it and to ask the people who own the store its on the back of about it.So I just went back and I was lookimg around more ans I found this Its the modern world lyrics but its not the ones from the booklet. I was wondering if this image is from there or if anyone recognize it.

Oooh, great work! Those are both from the SE, the hands are on the pages in between Christian's Inferno and LNOE, and the lyrics are used in the SE.Very awesome once again!
Guest Brian Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 There are a few over here in Dublin. I saw one just yesterday. For those in Dublin it was at the juction of Upper Liffey St. & Upper Abbey St.I'll see if I can take a picture of it soon. I saw a few others around also, but I can't remember where.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 The only 'advertising' I've seen around here, are my own writings on the tables at school (I sometimes write lyrics on tables). And I once saw GREEN DAY written on a table, and I didn't write that (that kinda made my day, it was during a shitty chemistry test xD). Of course I wrote something underneath it.But for the rest, no posters/graffitti whatsoever.

I went but she wasnt there so I went to her site and shes done some other photoshoots for Green Day. I emailed her about the wall and to ask if any of the other stuff out in the open this morning. Im just waiting for her to get back to me. Her name is Marina Chavez.
