Greenday_Aussie Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 http://www.lespaulforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107319That's not even the half of it. Try contacting "BCRGreg" and ask him about ALL his juniors.BTW, those are terrible angles, and the "white buttons" and "shiny bridge" are terrible arguments. See the pictures in the thread I linked to. If anything, I've seen guitars that look much better than what BJ is playing in those pictures. I've talked with dozens of vintage collectors and people who have worked at Gibson since they made the junior, and they'll tell you how incredibly possible it is to keep those guitars in mint condition... Now more than ever since everyone is really starting to take care of their own stuff ever since people have been making small fortunes of things like baseball cards in the attic. This isn't about whether or not he's using new guitars... But if you're going to make that assumption based off the fact that you don't think vintage guitars can look like new, then you really shouldn't count your chickens before they hatchHow great is Gregs collection! Ive seen a few of his before, luckey guy eh?
Eirik Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Grohl doesn't use the Jumbo. At least not in the Afoostic tour and ESPG tourI've only ever seen him use it once, during the intro to the Skin and Bones DVD, in that boat on the lake/river/whatever, when they play Skin and Bones.
924Nimrod Posted June 5, 2009 Author Posted June 5, 2009 Yeah I'm thinking of the "Warning" era Junior.
