I'm hoping it might be Papa Roach. At the Download festival this year they said they were doing a tour in October but theres no mention of it on their website. Got me thinkin they might tour with Green Day as thats around the time they're in the UK, be ace if they did :D

Nobody is getting me excited, I can honestly say I don't care, unless its one of GD's side bands I am not interested :/

Yeah, not many bands excite me these days. Hmph, I wish they'd get some names up... I don't know.

At the minute I'm either going for Bowling For Soup or 4 hour concert.

Either of those would be brilliant!

BFS are touring in the UK same time as GD, so not unless BFS can be in two places at once, or are doing matinees and have hired a chopper.

I love the way it says 'and special guests' where they're meant to have the name of the support band on the tickets

Unfortunately, 'Special Guests' is normally on gig tickets when it comes down the the support acts.

MCR would be better.

They'll probably have their own tour though, they're so big now

Haven't they not released an album since the Black Parade?

Maybe if it was 05, yeah

Umm... MCR have already supported Green Day, but they just don't have the right 'air' about them to support them IMO.

^ hehe - well everyone's entitled to their opinion. I would be most pissed off if they were the support in the UK.

My hopes are still on the Tubbies.

Remember when Billie said last year he was thinking of England?

Maybe this is England's chance (and hopefully Ireland's and other parts of Europe :D) to see them!

Yeah he got me all excited and then shut up about it. It annoyed me.

I still think it'll be someone like The Gaslight Anthem.

Gaslight Anthem are touring in the US in October.

MCR are in the studio (as is BFS) recording the BP follow up.

MCR would not be too bad if they focus on new material, but like others I really hope it is the FHT.

they have a show in japan on the 18th. they could fly back and support green day as they have no dates after that - but i cant really see it happening.

i would love foxboro hot tubs! in my dreams.....

actually, it seems they have made a really big efort to make the shows memorable and different at every gig, maybe they really are planning something really special? they do love the uk........
