Kryssi. Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 As much as I like Blink-182, I would NOT want them to support Green Day. They're on a tour aren't they, and plus, Travis HATES planes with a passion, so it's going to be hard getting him over here.
Psycho Britney Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I wouldn't mind The Fratellis-they're not bad live, just not much interaction with the crowd!
Miss Hedgie Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Ive heard rumours ranging from MCR to Fall Out Boy, somehow I dount it though because of how big they are at the momentMCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're kidding me right? Right?Right?
emmaILGD! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 MCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're kidding me right? Right?Right?I highly doubt MCR will be the support. I'm thinking a British band, I just don't know who to think of.
Nova-Caine Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I'd be fine without any support tbh, just get GD on for 4 hours
Comrade Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 The last time I saw BFS they were touring with The Bloodhound Gang on the Get Happy Tour, now that is some funny shit, if they reproduce half of that the crowd will be They were some great shows, although they played the Electric Ballroom in London the next summer which was even better. Only 500ish people there and they were on dashing form. Unfortunately I think we can write off any hopes for BFS supporting Green Day, they're doing their own headline tour of the UK in autumn. No bad thing of course! I'm holding out for Broadway Calls or Billy Talent. They would be amazing. Jimmy Eat World would be amazing too. But I hold on to a tiny hope BFS will pull through for me
littlelune2003 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Kasabian would be my choice. Better not be seeing as I cannot go. Talk about adding salt to the wound if they were supporting!

Sharmellow Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Blink sucks..Blink 182 doesn't suck that much, well, the only reason why they suck is because Tom is a crap live singer.
iLozza! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I'd be fine without any support tbh, just get GD on for 4 hours I'd be good with that too. But I'd take any of the bands mentioned so far, even if I don't listen to them often, or at all, as long as Fall Out Boy don't tour with them. That'd be my worst nightmare.

Kryssi. Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 The silence on their side is worrying... they would've had support up by now.
emmaILGD! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I knew I wasn't the only one!My ex-best friend used to have a go at me for being 'obsessed with Green Day' all the time, and now she's obsessed with Fall Out Boy.They do my head in, and their version of Beat It (which I only heard 2 days ago ) is terrible.
farley drexel hatcher Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Does it normally take this long for bands to announce their support acts? It's three months till the shows, we knew about the US acts about a week after the shows were announced.
Anja Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I want The Fratellis, actually.Didn't Billie say he likes them?Tré likes them. He went to one of their shows last year. I´d be totally fine with them. Saw them live last year and they were actually pretty good.
Isabel Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I always seem to find out out who's supporting when I'm on my way to the venue
emmaILGD! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I thought of another band I wouldn't mind: The Prodigy.
Isabel Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I could definitely see someone like Zebrahead supporting.
iLozza! And that's not just because I hate FOB, it's just terrible in my eyes.
