Kryssi. Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I hope I can sneak onto the floor from the side-stage.
piratepalmer Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I don't get all the whining either? I am happy about Prima Donna opening myself. I am happy for them because they seem like great guys, Green Day obviously likes them, and Kevin Preston is just such a sweetheart. Their music - while it may not be everyone's taste - is pretty good, imo! Prima Donna may not be very well known, but has anyone around here heard of the Foxboro Hot Tubs? Kevin's in that band, too... Anyway, ^yes to whoever said that the only thing that really matters is Green Day. Cheryl - you dew know That Petrol Emotion should've been opening for them in the UK. Remind me to give Billie and the lads a good slappin' k?
*withoutadoubt* Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Cheryl - you dew know That Petrol Emotion should've been opening for them in the UK. Remind me to give Billie and the lads a good slappin' k? First of all, your signature cracks me up, lol. Secondly, I have to remind YOU? hehe. Lastly, maybe TPE should open up for the Razorbacks at Chez Longview, eh???? Now that's an idea!
Isabel Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 It says in this week's Kerrang that Green Day will be featured in next week's issue as well. I wonder if they'll mention anything about Prima Donna.
Kryssi. Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I saw that in the back, too. Hopefully something worth reading. They've done that before and it's been the smallest piece in the magazine, I swear.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I hope I can sneak onto the floor from the side-stage.you can.
farley drexel hatcher Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I may have to try the same thing.Though i'm not brave enough
Kryssi. Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 you can.I have seated tickets for the 24th... maybe I ought to buy tickets for the rest of the shows.. although I only need a ticket to the first night at both manchester and birmingham, and the sheffield date...
Hermione Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Hey, wait a minute here...what did I exactly sign up for? Or is this another 'English' tradition I need to learn about? Hermione - we are just going to have to kidnap you overnight and force you to come to the show on the 24th!!Hehe I wish, if you're kidnapping that short bloke at the same it it could be interesting Oh fucking hell I missed my 10,000th post. Yay now the custom title I won a year ago is worthless
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I know that I know plenty of music and never heard of any of the three support bands before the tour started. Neither had most people over here.....When you bought your "allegedly expensive" tickets you were buying them to see Green Day. and to everyone else, shut your fucking pie holes. You and your bitching is annoying. When did I say they were expensive ? As far as I can tell, they're about the same price as a few other bands (give or take a few quid). I don't think anyone's really bitching, people are entitled to have their own opinions, just because you don't agree doesn't make them automatically wrong. Also, please don't tell me to ''shut my fucking pie hole''.
piratepalmer Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Lastly, maybe TPE should open up for the Razorbacks at Chez Longview, eh???? Now that's an idea!In my dreams Green Day are the meat in a Bob Mould/TPE sandwich *sigh*
Nobody_Likes_You Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 My GF: 'They sound exactly like Green Day'I think they have similarities, but they don't sound like each other soo much. I listened to a few songs by them in the last few days and I'll have to admit, that they're a great band.
greendaytone Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I'm just listening to theirsong 'Demoted' on youtube. The riff sounds a lot like 'Blitzkrieg Bop' by The Ramones.
Nova-Caine Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Yes please do, lets all have fun in Rocktober and there be lots of lovin and good times Oh and lots of getting shitfaced
Kryssi. Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I don't want people getting angry at each other, let's leave that until after Rocktober.
Hermione Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 I'm just listening to theirsong 'Demoted' on youtube. The riff sounds a lot like 'Blitzkrieg Bop' by The Ramones.Haha, for a long time that was the only Prima Donna song I'd heard and I wasn't that impressed by it. But now I've listened to the rest of the songs on their myspace and I really like them! I'd recommend checking out the myspace, they have much funkier songs on there
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Yes please do, lets all have fun in Rocktober and there be lots of lovin and good times Oh and lots of getting shitfaced WHO SAID I WAS ANGRY ?!I'll be a lot calmer once you've bought me many, many vodka & cokes. And possibly a jug of Mojito or Blue Lagoon, you can decide
Nova-Caine Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 WHO SAID I WAS ANGRY ?!I'll be a lot calmer once you've bought me many, many vodka & cokes. IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 You sounded angry Well you'll have to all learn to get along and hug one another come Rocktober that's all I am saying oh and If I'm buying you that mines several Jack n coke *hic*xI'm alright now, I just don't take too kindly to people accusing me of saying things I haven't or telling me to shut it for no good reason. I'm sure they'll be plenty of love 'n' hugs once all the alcohol I plan to consume starts to work it's magic.
Trina Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Woah. I thought people would be delighted Prima Donna are the support act. I guess not ...I'm excited anyways.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 When did I say they were expensive ? Also, please don't tell me to ''shut my fucking pie hole''.maybe I wasnt talking specifically to you.Between this and facebook I was just getting the feeling someone could tell people green day was gonna come play in their living room and they would say:oh its too loudoh theyre too closeI have class that night....
