Tickets for shows almost always say 'Special Guests' under the headline act. You can't expect bands to do a whole show on their own without a warm up act. So don't build your hopes up because it says that.

My fingers are crossed for Bowling For Soup. New album out Sept so would be right timing...

See if anyone can warm a crowd up its BFS, they are fun, funky and naughty, I love them live, this I would be happy with anyone else i'll probably fall asleep against the barrier

As I said before, FHT aren't a big stage band, they're more equipped to be at small shows :wink: More atmosphere and sweat with smaller, more intimate shows.

On my glasgow ticket it only has Green Day, no mention of any special guests. But maybe that's just because no one has been confirmed.

I would have loved to have seen Franz Ferdinand as the support group in the european tours I'm seeing them the week before i see Green Day

After listening to one of the previously mentioned bands, I really hope it's Bowling for Soup

I downloaded a few of their songs and will probably continue listening to them

The last time I saw BFS they were touring with The Bloodhound Gang on the Get Happy Tour, now that is some funny shit, if they reproduce half of that the crowd will be

Last time I saw Bloodhound Gang Evil Jarred put Chris Burney on a flight case (one of the big ones on wheels) and pulled him across the stage with a chain attached to the piercing on his man tool

It would be so fuckin sikk if they did!

the ticket for my manchester gigs says 'plus special guests' but hey they probobly just print that for every gig. it would be awsome to see them do a long set but support bands can create such a good atmosphere and sense of excitment, so i dont know. billy talent havent got anything going on after reading and leeds so maybe them?
