**nobodylikesyou** Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 One time i saw Prima Donna in LA and it was really crazy fun!Mike Dirnt was there with his wife jumping around tooI think because they aren't as known in the mainstream that we can say Green Day pretty much hand picked theminstead of having labels throw shitty bands like NFG or Franz Ferdinand their way.they hand picked Franz as well. Thanks to Tre's girlfriend.
Psycho Britney Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 The Rev really needs to come and save all our souls in England!! .....(PLEASE!! I'm not below begging..)

DangerFist Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Prima Donna is main support for the entire tour. If anyone needs Prima Donna albums or vinyl, hit me up. I'm usually their tour manager, but I'm getting married 10/17. Flying out for Wembley and staying until Turin. We did Europe back in 06 with Texas Terri and the Masons, including the Wasted Festival. Prima Donna started out as Hypertention in '94 doing Green Day covers at the age of 9. It was a three piece Kevin, Dan and David (my brother). Funny how things work out. It's rare to see this type of chemistry in any band, you will be impressed.

netty Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 I`ve emailed Bill again. see if we can get some news about the sound checks finally. seeing as the bugger didnt answer last time. or Brian for that matter.
netty Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 got an answer to both questions! yes its the Prima Donnas (although I think we had pretty much established that) and there are going to be sound checks but only for selected cities (dont know which ones) and it will be for Idiot Club members only. sorry for the bad news for non-members.
farley drexel hatcher Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Yay thanks for getting confirmation on that! I'm glad it's Prima Donna.

louizex Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 i really like this band dont get me wrong but does anyone else think there should be a bigger band aswell? like two supports? my friends think for the size of show and the fact it sold out we should maybe have a more famous/popular band aswell, especially as alot of people there wont really care about the whole fbht connection and paid alot of money for their ticket. and theres plenty of time for two supports. i would personally be very happy with them as main/only support but everyone i know going to the gigs were not so chuffed and it just got me thinking.
Minority_GD Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Ok , I'll become a member of the idiot club .mmmh I don't know if there should be a bigger band as well I like the music of the prima donnas . it's great to dance to it

Harriet Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Soundchecks for Idiot Club members only...I don't know. If it's only for selected cities they probably won't do it for Sheffield, but knowing my luck I won't sign up and then they will do it and I will miss out. I don't think I can afford to sign up anyway.
