^ yeah..

For me, England is the Green Day European Heaven.. They love UK, I think every American Band does... The other European Countries are just not that important, and That's what I'm sad about...

BUT.. IF THEY PLAY THERE.. I'm telling you.. I'll also be there :) (just don't know how)

There is no doubt that the UK is the best place to play if you want a good crowd and a great atmosphere but the rest of Europe does matter. I have heard many times about How much places like Germany love Green Day and how they love them, If they didnt matter then they wouldnt go to all the trouble of playing at your festivals and arranging gigs there, they could of easily of done a Jacko and made everyone travel to the O2 just to see them but they didnt cos you matter. anyway who wouldnt want to spend a few days in Portugal :D

no one ever sees the UK as being part of europe, partly because we're not attatched to the rest of europe, plus because we're more attatched to America than the rest of europe :)

That's just lame. But you can be attatched to America as much as you want.

a bit to proud of your country? ..

edit: sorry, you aren't from England

beat me.

they also love other countrys, for sure. i think they don't have a "favorite country" to play in European.

But Billie said that in Germany are the best fans :D ...yes, he said.

but maybe he wanted to crawl.

Haha. I've learned that the UK is a part of Europe.

I've just never gotten the Brits that's all. I mean Norway is a part of Europe, Canada is a part of North American, Brazil is a part of South America, Somalia is a part of Africa and Australia is a part of Oceania (I'm pretty sure that isn't spelled right). And England for instance is "just" suppose to be a part of the UK?

The UK is just a name for a collection of countries that are near each other. England is one of them along with Ireland, Wales and Scotland (which I think make up Great Britain) and Northern Ireland. It winds me up when people say 'British accent' when they mean English, so I thought I'd (randomly) clarify.

Anyways, is there still no announcement on this ? Everytime I see this thread I expect something and yet nothing's happened.

Thank you for explaning. But I still don't get the, 'not a part of Europe part'. I'm probably too slow.

Don't care who is from where. It is totally pointless to discuss this shit out.

And who asked you?

Wow, how did this flip from wanting to know who is supporting them to what countries they love more and what countries are involved in the UK?

Haha, it's okay.

I'm sure, if they had a support act, they would've put it out before now.

The UK is definitely part of Europe. But because we're an island we're separate from mainland Europe geographically. And there's a lot more differences between the UK and the rest of Europe, than there is between other European countries.

So even though we're part of Europe, we're more separate than most of the other countries if you see what I mean.

So yeah I wonder who the support will be . Probably not anyone I like.

I would've liked the Matches to support them, but they went on hiatus the other month. The Phenomenauts would be an awesome opener for them, although I don't know if they would be able to tour the UK, I don't know. They're not TOO well known outside the UK, bless 'em.

Aw, everytime I check this thread I hope for news of the support band! I hope it's someone decent. Either way, my seated tickets won't allow me to jump around too much *grumbles*
