colour_me_stupid_ Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Damn right it wont be Muse, they are too big a band to be anyone's support act. But yes, that would be pretty darn awesome =]
Harriet Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 It's gonna be the Foxboro Hot Tubs! Well... it says "special" guess and they are pretty special. For ages i thought "Special Guests" was an actual band *facepalm*
alexandrez Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I had hoped that it was going to be the band Muse. That would be the best show ever, but that isn't going to happen. I don't mind since i'll see them a few weeks after. I think it will be a side project, or no support band at all and more Green Day, which suits me just fine.Muse doesn't support bands in Europe dude. US yea, for now. they are supporting U2.Muse is a headlining band. same as green day.i'd love to see Foxboro and The Network opening for green day.=DDDDDDDDDDDD
kim246 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 For ages i thought "Special Guests" was an actual band *facepalm*lol, that made my dayon topic i want tubbies
greendaygal89 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 It's gonna be the Foxboro Hot Tubs! Well... it says "special" guess and they are pretty special. i wish
Tubbie Head Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 It's gonna be the Foxboro Hot Tubs! Well... it says "special" guess and they are pretty special. hmmmm? Where does it say Special? =0If they are.. I don't care about anything else.. I'M THERE! (If that's only for the UK shows) xDMuse doesn't support bands in Europe dude. US yea, for now. they are supporting U2.Muse is a headlining band. same as green day.i'd love to see Foxboro and The Network opening for green day.=DDDDDDDDDDDDYeah, The tickets for Muse are already sold out here.. and their concert will be in November..For Green Day, that are only 28 days until the show, still tickets on sale :/ I hate this country for this..

Tubbie Head Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 i really hope however supports the guys are good Yeah, me too =)
Kryssi. Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Hahah, Muse support Green Day? They wouldn't.Anyway, still shocking that we don't know. How more can we really discuss this? Unless we try and think of possible bands that could? I definitely don't want Daughtry.
Isabel Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Yeah, I think everyone's pretty much going around in circles, just waiting for confirmation of who it could be.
elisa Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hahah, Muse support Green Day? They wouldn't.and they couldn't. they're having their own european tour in the fall.
tvrman Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I really see no need for a support act, it is not as though Green Day have not got enough great material to fill a gig on their own.Over the years I have found support bands to on the whole be a bit naff. I mean you are there to watch the main act and waiting for the support to go through the motions just adds to the impatience and they can damage the expectant mood. I accept that may be a bit harsh but I am sure you catch my drift. The only time that I have liked a support act was when I saw Thin Lizzy as a support act (now I am showing my age, LOL) back in ... the early 70s... I think.IMO it should either be the FHT or just give me 3+ hours of Green Day.tvrman
valentinesandcigs Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 remember when the rev put that message on the hot tubs blog saying that englands next .... im wondering. this is what he said if you guys dont remember so we can hopeAnd with that said, thanks to all the Tub Heads for coming out for our first tour. emmaILGD! Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 remember when the rev put that message on the hot tubs blog saying that englands next .... im wondering nowThey might do a few shows when they're in England, you never know
iLozza! Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hahah, Muse support Green Day? They wouldn't.Anyway, still shocking that we don't know. How more can we really discuss this? Unless we try and think of possible bands that could? I definitely don't want Daughtry.Agreed. I don't really like Daughtr; can't the Foxboro Hot Tubs open instead?
klytaemnestra Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 has anyone else got a funny feeling about the king blues, maybe? or broadway calls, i remember them being in kerrang and apparently billie likes them. idk. who knows.
McNavdo Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 It has to be FHT. it just makes sense after what they said about England being next although technically it wll be Scotland. Ireland and then England which makes a change cos Scotland rarely gets anything before England, unless its Swine Flu
Minority_GD Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 If the foxies played in england they should also play in europe!
louizex Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 It has to be FHT. it just makes sense after what they said about England being next although technically it wll be Scotland. Ireland and then England which makes a change cos Scotland rarely gets anything before England, unless its Swine Flu lol, yep, we deserve something good for once! im getting so impatient, to pass time we should all just argue wether we want tubbies or the network. foxboro hot tubs for me! actually, the king blues shows end 9th of october, i wouldnt rule them out.
IamRobotHearMeRoar Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 there is... on the ticket there stand: green day plus supportdoesn't have that on mine.
emmaILGD! Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I approve of The King Blues. But I'm starting to think we might just get a 4 hour Green Day show.
elisa Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 ^ 4 hours? it would be too awesome! If the foxies played in england they should also play in europe!isn't england in europe?
IamRobotHearMeRoar Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 isn't england in europe? no one ever sees the UK as being part of europe, partly because we're not attatched to the rest of europe, plus because we're more attatched to America than the rest of europe
