^ Whatsername does that to me...the whole "It is the ending" thing.

"See the Light" makes me emotional but for different reasons. Sometimes I just really, really feel like that song, so it gets to me.

Although it is a great last song to have on the record.

¡Viva la Gloria! was the first song I heard that was completely and utterly new to me. The beginning of the song is so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes (not sad tears, just an excess of many emotions all welling up together). EJN always makes me feel defiant, strong, determined, and energetic. The end of Before the Lobotomy (when the "Dreaming, I was only dreaming" part starts again) often makes me tear up (especially live). I'm not sure why - maybe because it's just a very effective arrangement that pulls the emotion out of me. And, I quite often get emotional when I hear 21 Guns - it's just so beautiful.

I got the same feeling with Lobotomy. That song has grown on me so much.

The first few times i listened to Restless Heart Syndrome i got a bit emotional. I havn't listened to it much lately tho cos i'v got so much new music in the last week!

I actually surprised myself, cuz a few days ago, I almost started to cry during RHS. That song is too powerful!! It makes me wildly emotional, haha.

i had some tears in last night on earth and before the lobotomy, it got me a little emotional.

thats what i like about green day they can be punk rockers and all but still play quite songs that can say what your heart feels ^^''

Well, I'm not actually emotional person, and if there is any song that can make me cry, it's often written by Billie Joe Amstrong.

And from this particular album, that would be Last Night On Earth, 21 Guns, maybe some parts of RHS, and BTL.

21 Guns kinda gets to me. A few of them do but in different ways. I've always had crazy intense reactions to music anyway, gotta be careful what I listen to cause it'll affect my mood.

I have to say the very beginning of !Viva La Gloria! did it for me.

See the light made me a bit sad sometimes because its an ending song, and one part in Before the Lobotomy has got me a bit emotional. But nothing was as emotional as !Viva La Gloria! for me.

Horseshoes and Handgrenades for some reason just makes me smile like a moron.

It has the same effect on me too, but I always feel kind of like I want to change something. Like an activist spirit, which I have always wanted to change things for the better. So I guess its somewhat an inspiring song for me.

i get emotional during the second part of 21st Century Breakdown...because when i start singing it i sing the demo lyrics by accident :(

in Before the Lobotomy, when they say "When the Sky is falling down" i get all choked up.

and in Horseshoes & Handgrenades i like to sound like an asshole singing it.

cuz its like Christian posesses me and i suddenly have genuine feeling of wanting to tell everyone to fuck themselves and then go on a destructive rampage.

American Eulogy gets me pretty emotional

they better play that song on their tour

I will belt it with all my lung power!

I get the exact same feeling too. Its my angry song as well.

The whole album can really make me emotional. Like, it's an hour long song about the strife of America today and how most of us are falling, but there's still this little bit of hope that all of us can cling on to. It's really relatable. I think the song that gets me the most is 21 Guns.

Before The Lobotomy, Last Night On Earth and Restless Heart Syndrome got me welled up for a while. Now its not so bad. But the big one is this: My wife and I are battling a DCFS case for our daughter. Last week, after having many discussions with each other and getting a "good idea" from DCFS and the agency they put our daughter with, we decided to give our daughter up for adoption. I got in the car to go to a class, turned on the radio and 21 Guns was playing and damnit I couldnt hold in what I didnt want to let out, but i was crying and singing at the same time, it was bad people. so yea. thats my emotional story with the album. never happened with any other band or album. not bad for a first.
