82 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 All your pictures/ stories are so amazing I think I'd probably have a meltdown if I got pulled up
ANJI Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Great video Kryssi and Bexie! I'd love to get pulled up on stage one day...but i'd just probably freeze XD
82 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I cannot get over the fact you wore a banana suit to a Green Day show. YOU ARE AN ACTUAL LEDGEND.
Ingrid Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Huge bald guy Haha okay, I know who that is I just didn't know his name.
Leisha-LUNA Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Arturo pulled me out too! He's a fucking legend. I don't know how he gets the energy to keep pulling people out, his poor back!God I love Arturo haha, he's awesome. I don't really remember him pulling me out because it was such a blur (although I know he did)But I remember him pulling Aska out and it was hilarious. He lifted her straight over the barrier (at a section where there was no step) and then put her down on the stage, he didn't even put her on the ground first, it was so funny and impressive hahaha. Fuck yes for your banana suit!

Isabel Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I love how they've started pulling loads of people up for Paper Lanterns/2,000 LYA
JadedHaushinka Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Unfortunately I haven't been pulled up onstage with them yet.. I was hoping so bad in Finland but I hope for the next time.
NoVaCaInE! Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 23rd June in Marlay Park, Dublin I got to sing the last verse of Longview and stage dive (even though it was more of a stage fall..whoops xD) I still can't comprehend that it actually happened, if that makes any sense. It was literally the best thing that's ever happened to me. The day before we got to watch the stage being built near enough to the area, and we were moved out at about 6pm or so behind these tall barriers. Then they came on and did the soundcheck. When I was watching the stage being built/soundcheck I never actually thought I'd be lucky enough to get up on it. Ahhh it was amazing
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I still can't comprehend that it actually happened, if that makes any sense. Makes complete sense.
st.idiot Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 isn't there already a thread for this? im 99.9% sure there is and it has a pole in the description
norcalgreendayfan Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Unfortunately I haven't been pulled up onstage with them yet.. I was hoping so bad in Finland but I hope for the next time. I feel you there. I was hopin so bad that I would get pulled up at last nights show but it didn't happen . I hope by Some miracle I get pulled up at the homecoming show because who knows when the next time will be that I see them.
Devan Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I sang the entirety of Longview (Not well, but I remembered the words, haha) and Billie gave me the guitar. I got backstage passes for after the show. It was the most surreal experience I've ever had. I'm not sure how anything could ever top it... I held up a giant neon sign that said 'Pick Me!' and stood on my chair and that did the trick. I felt like Billie had been noticing me before Longview (but maybe that was wishful thinking) and he liked my shirt so he picked me. I kind of knew he was going to, because he pointed at me and said, "What about her?" and moved on and pointed at a couple people but then came back. I ran through the crowd and security launched me onstage and I sprinted towards Billie and gave him a giant hug. He gave me the microphone immediately and counted me down, there wasn't even an introduction! I sang and ran around and jumped off stuff and did all the rock star moves I could think of. Oh my goodness, every time I look at that guitar, I just want to relive tose three-ish minutes. It's so hard to explain the adrenaline of looking out at so many faces and just letting it fill you. Just being so lucky to get on stage for a minute is worth a lifetime of thanks, but being able to sing with them and having the guitar to play and cherish forever is simply unexplainable! Woo, I'm getting worked up again!

But it's a full-seated show, isn't it? Are they planning on pulling people up then? Perhaps you should make a sign of some sort to get a better chance.
St3veHimself Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I would love to get pulled up to play JOS on guitar. I wanted to do it at the Detroit show, but it doesn't look like they do that anymore
Clockwise Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 My friend was pulled on stage last month, he lost his glasses up there, haha
steelthorne Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I got on stage finally at the last show that I went to which was on 8/11/10 in Bristow, VA. It was pretty easy, me and the guy in front of me had been talking before the show started about how we really wanted to get on stage, and right after paper lanterns Billie did the general invite thing and he sort of just wanted a shit ton of people to get onstage and me and the guy just hopped the barricade and sort of jumped. To be honest, if you wanna get on stage just wait til Billie is nearby your area and then just go for it. I'm pretty sure that if it's not like in the middle of a song Billie will probably stop security from kicking you off stage. Anyway, when I got up there I remembered BJ tweeting about how he needed more stickers for Blue, So I asked him if I could put a sticker for my band on there and he let me. You can see it in this video around 6:10 in. Later on in the show Mike actually signaled for me to get up on stage again, and I kid you not I so wish I had tried to just jump up but the stage is too high to get up there from the side, and so I ran up to a security guard for help and since he hadn't seen Mike signal for me to get up, he wouldn't let me which is pretty fucked. But it's alright, I got up on stage period which was amazing, and what's even cooler is that after that show, Billie cut out part of my sticker and kept it on there and I believe it's still on there right now next to his input jack.

I would make a sign but i dunno if security are gonna take them away like they did at the Chula Vista Show

I would make a sign but i dunno if security are gonna take them away like they did at the Chula Vista Show You can always try! just a plastic bag or a sheet of paper and a sharpie can make a good sign, it won't hurt to try
711_Disciple Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Yep. 8-9-10, Alpharetta GA. Paper Lanters/2,000 LYA The last 30-45 seconds: (some girl in a tank top gets up in front of the camera, but you can see the guard go down to pull me out!) I'm the girl freaking out in the blue shirt. Even in my haze of "Oh my God, is this really happening?!" I still managed to get a hug from Billie. Best moments of my life, no doubt.
norcalgreendayfan Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 You can always try! just a plastic bag or a sheet of paper and a sharpie can make a good sign, it won't hurt to try Yeah true it doesn't hurt to try
