Rezurgam Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Woah, I just realized. They are releasing so soon because tomorrow is Memorial Day to honor those who died. Hella slow.
Guest 16PaperLanterns Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Woah, I just realized. They are releasing so soon because tomorrow is Memorial Day to honor those who died. Hella slow.Yeah I just saw an article about that. I didn't even realize it was Memorial Day today.
Eirik Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 It's just a single. I"m sure we can all listen to the songs over and over again on the actual album.Yeah, you'd think no one knew.
Jason Alvarez Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Yeah, you'd think no one knew. But there's extra B-sides!
God XIV Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Can't wait to hear some b-sides.(From The Closed Thread in "News")The B Sides are Most Likely Going To Be Live Tracks Like They Did On American Idiot:American Idiot - Single: American Idiot, Too Much Too Soon, Shoplifter, Governator.Boulevard Of Broken Dreams - Single: Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Letterbomb (Live), American Idiot (Live) Shes A Rebel (live)Holiday - Single: Holiday, Minority (Live), Boulevard Of Broken Dreams (Live)Wake Me Up... - Single: Wake Me Up..., Give Me Novacaine (Live From Storytellers), Homecoming (Live From Storytellers)Jesus Of Suburbia - Single: Jesus Of Suburbia, Are We The Waiting (Live From Storytellers), St. Jimmy (Live From Storytellers), Bullet In A Bible (1 Min Trailer)So Unless They Decide To Surprise Us Then It's Live Tracks I'm Afraid If They Do Have Studio B-Sides Like They Did On Insomniac and Nimrod Good For Them And Also i Hope They Do Another Live Album Like "Bullet In A Bible"
God XIV Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 bah, seems they are going the same route they took with AIthey released Americna Idiot as a single then BOBD then Holiday.they relaesed Know Your Enemy as a single then 21 Guns and hopefully (and i have a very good feeling about this) East Jesus Nowhere.HOW?
Katarina. Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 So I guess it's not May 25? Cause I haven't heard anything today about a release..
Clayish Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 So I guess it's not May 25? Cause I haven't heard anything today about a release..People have heard it on the radio today, so I think today was a radio single release.
Katarina. Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 People have heard it on the radio today, so I think today was a radio single release.Hmm, alright then. I haven't listened to the radio anyway, so
gdpunk2 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 HOW?Yeah, me too, EJN just reminds me of Holiday for some reason and it just seems likely that it will be the next one released after 21 Guns. Though I expected EJN to be released before 21 Guns because that song seemed like it had more talk around it when we first heard it
permanent_insanity Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I hope this videoclip is better than KYE.me too
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Knew 21 Guns would be the next single. Don't thinkn they should release it this soon though, i think it should be one of the latter singles. But whatever.
.Brian Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 the only wish i have is, that it doesn't become a transformers-related video with green day performing between some stupid robots. that would be scaaary.
amy_runs Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I think East Jesus Nowhere is too... explicit (?) to be a single
.Brian Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I think East Jesus Nowhere is too... explicit (?) to be a singlethat's what makes it so interesting for me horseshoes and handgrenades would be coooool
Robin105 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I could see these religious fundamentalists flipping out of EJN became a single. I would love that song to be a single. I hope it is
Angela. Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I could see these religious fundamentalists flipping out of EJN became a single. I would love that song to be a single. I hope it isI can see it, too. Those dumbfucks will be complaining up a storm. And I'll laugh and say, "This song only speaks the truth. Sorry you're too self-absorbed in your fantasy to realize the harsh reality." If EJN doesn't become a single, I'll be a little pissed/dissapointed.Anyways, I'm such an idiot. I knew 21 Guns was being released on the 25th, but I thought today was the 23rd or 24th, for some reason.
depardu42 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I could see these religious fundamentalists flipping out of EJN became a single. I would love that song to be a single. I hope it isI think East Jesus Nowhere would be fine as a single. Who cares if it's about religion! Christian bands get to play their songs about that matter on the radio, Green Day should be able to as well.
forget_me_nots Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 So I guess it's not May 25? Cause I haven't heard anything today about a release..I heard it on the radio today. I was at a picnic, and it started playing, and I started waving everyone over frantically and jumping up and down. xD
Snorri Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I can see it, too. Those dumbfucks will be complaining up a storm. And I'll laugh and say, "This song only speaks the truth. Sorry you're too self-absorbed in your fantasy to realize the harsh reality." If EJN doesn't become a single, I'll be a little pissed/dissapointed.I think it's kinda obvious that EJN will be a single. It's such a great song and everybody loves it It would be stupid of them not to make it a single...
mrwhirly2000 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I think it's kinda obvious that EJN will be a single. It's such a great song and everybody loves it It would be stupid of them not to make it a single...the fact that it was played on letterman this early into the albums release, almost guarantees that it'll be a single
forget_me_nots Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 the fact that it was played on letterman this early into the albums release, almost guarantees that it'll be a single I cant wait to hear EJN on the radio. O_O
Angela. Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 the fact that it was played on letterman this early into the albums release, almost guarantees that it'll be a singleThat's true. Can't wait for this wonderful little treasure to be heard on the radio.
Jason Alvarez Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 OK. I'll just wait for the music vid to come out.
