dolce Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Good for Green Day! They shouldn't have to censor their record, it's fine the way it is. Reak music isn't created so it can be edited and censored to please everyone. There's an explicit content sticker on the cd, and anyone who doesn't want to hear it doesn't have to.

dolce Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 ^ LOL, yeah, and I meant REAL music, not REAK music, btw.
forget_me_nots Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 +1 respect for Green Day.And how! This is brilliant! They're amazing. Stickin' in to the fucking man, haha.
.Brian Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 And people say they aren't punk!that's exactly what i thought.
ScreamsInSilence815 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 They (the guys) made the right decision.Music is made to express emotions and opinions, however the artist feels they can get their point across. Censoring it is just plain stupid.Oh well, it's the store's loss, really.
Green Jay Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 The only clean version CDs I've come across are like Mindless Self Indulgence so big fat LOL @ wal-mart
Tiffx Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I love Green Day and their assertivness. They made the right decision.
Sanah Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Saw this way earlier, didn't comment.Buuut now that I see it's on the front page of Yahoo!, I'd like to agree that this is quite badass of them.
depardu42 Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Good for Green Day, and stickin' it to Wal-Mart, kind of....I mean, they do still carry all of their old albums. At least they used to.But still, this is pretty awesome.
John McClane Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 That's too bad, the Wal-marts here in Canada are apparently selling the cds. I guess Wal-mart Canada is a little less uptight.
norcalgreendayfan Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 That's too bad, the Wal-marts here in Canada are apparently selling the cds. I guess Wal-mart Canada is a little less uptight. Well Canada is just cool
arrie44 Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 This is so dumb of Wal-Mart, what a stupid policy. They can sell Rated R movies but not 21CB????So lemme get this straight....saying Fuck in a movie is OK, actually fucking in a movie is OK, but saying fuck on an album is not.Really smart Wal-Mart....sheesh!!!Oh yeah, you can buy your Rated R movie along with a fucking rifle there, but not a Green Day record with a naughty word.
forget_me_nots Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Oh yeah, you can buy your Rated R movie along with a fucking rifle there, but not a Green Day record with a naughty word.I know, it's hilarious!! It's like, what the hell is Wal-Mart planning on gaining by doing this? Proving a point? Good job.
Devconn88 Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I personally don't think there last two CD deserved a warning labels anyway they are quite tame
