sroy Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 21 guns is number 7 on the modern rock chart, two places behind know your enemy .
Minority_GD Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Well, the physical single isn´t out yet. Hence it´s not in the charts yet I´ve seen it on TV a three times now but I´ve never heard it in the radio. Guess I just listen to the wrong radio stations.1live plays it
Hermione Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Yeah I haven't heard 21 Guns anywhere. But then again I've only seen Green Day on TV once since the album was out, and that was in the early hours of the morning. As far as terrestrial TV goes Green Day might as well not exist for all the coverage they've got for this album.
Nova-Caine Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 There aren't any Terrestrial music programmes any more in the UK apart from Jools Holland, which is on for like 6 weeks a year. As naff as TOTP and CD UK were they were at least somewhere for bands to play their latest tracks live. This country has gone down the shitter :/
Hermione Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 All true Ahh well there is still the Green Day goldmine of the internet
farley drexel hatcher Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 21 Guns was played a lot on the music channels last Monday (first day the video was released) and still comes on a fair bit now. My dad says radio one is playing it a lot too.
.Brian Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 So what's up with 21 Guns? Haven't seen it in the charts, heard it on the radio OR seen it on TV!..21 can't enter the charts, if there's no single sold
The Disappearing Boy Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Yeah but the internet is full of weirdo's like this forum!
Hermione Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Yeah but the internet is full of weirdo's What no weirdos here :whistling:
DeJennsitized Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I think 21stCB is still in the top 20 (maybe 15?) in the Sainbury's touch screen music chart, lol.And 21 Guns has been number 1 on Kerrang for the past few weeks.
Maddy. Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 21st Century Breakdown was #4 for 1 week and now it's #13 of 40, but in the Netherlands we live under a rock, so no good music on radio unless I ask for Green Day on the internetradio thing 21 Guns is nr 7!!!!!!
meghann Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 i've heard it on the radio..haven't seen it on tv but once maybe.

Comrade Posted July 7, 2009 Author Posted July 7, 2009 I've heard it on the radio a few time, and seen it on both Kerrang and Scuzz. But the single hasn't been released yet, either online(well, pre-order) or as a physical release.
HoneyDo666 Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 21CB is now #14 on the Album Chart...hopefully the tour will skyrocket it back to #1!21 Guns is #6 on the Modern Rock chart, KYE is #8.
Moxy Crimefighter Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 sadly I don't think its doing so fantastic in Australia. blame Michael jackson, jessica mauboy and Hannah Montanna.
Tiffx Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 sadly I don't think its doing so fantastic in Australia. blame Michael jackson, jessica mauboy and Hannah Montanna.QFT.but you forgot Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas.
Greenday_Aussie Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Well, looks like we'll have to wait another 10 years for another Dookie/AI era.Breakdown is way underrated by the public.
HoneyDo666 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Well, looks like we'll have to wait another 10 years for another Dookie/AI era.Breakdown is way underrated by the public.No...please say it isn't so! Once they start winning awards, I think people will take notice. That's what happened with AI. Plus their shows are almost all sold out! Not many bands can do that in this economy.
HoneyDo666 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 21CB is at #16 on the album chart...but 21 Guns has moved up to #4 on the Modern Rock chart! All signs point to Grammy, I hope!
M1KEY Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Last week 21st CB was the #10 bestseller at HMV and was still #1 at Future Shop in downtown Vancouver. I'm sure this week it must be doing better at HMV after that 4th of July show. HMV also was selling 21st CB on vinyl, but just a regular 12" of course.
blitzkriegdeb Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I just checked the iTunes store and 21stCB is number 39 in the top albums. Not too bad, not wicked good. I guess it's doing alright.
