So who else thought that Mike did a really great job on his little part in American Eulogy? I loved the verses he sang, and I think it was a huge step forward for Mike. I feel like now that he has actually sang without Billie, I've realized how much I actually love his voice. It adds a new feel to Green Day for me, and I think this moment will be really special live. Hopefully Mike comes out on the little podium and sings his part, it should be great. The energy that he puts into it just blew me away.

He wrote the song and his vocals are all over it. He doesn't solo, he just sings along with the rest of the band on that one, but instead of being left in the background during the chorus, his vocals are mixed so that they stand out over the others. Listen close.

I honestly wouldn't have really noticed it was Mike singing if I hadn't seen this. He sounds so much like BJ, it takes a closer listen to tell the difference. To me, anyway. I didn't even know it was him in Homecoming. There he sounded *exactly* like BJ, he really did. I had to watch the live video to see for myself. O_O

Yep, now i can hear him, after hearing the tone of his voice. He sings that "epic" chorus on the song, very proeminent in the mix

Mike did an excellent job with this song! I think his vocals are so much better now than they were in Nobody Likes You.

Yep, he sang on Governator and also a few of The Network songs. Honestly I think that Mike sounds more like Mike on American Eulogy than on Governator or The Network.

I love the chorus of Modern World, and I love the verses, and I love Mike's singing. Deff. one of the best songs on the album. Half the time i just listen to it to hear Mike say "Well, I don't give a shit about the modern age!"

EDIT: There are tons of "ooooooo's" (if you know what they hell im talking about) in 21st CB, does Mike sing those too? They seem a little high-pitched for him.
