There's no other reason for me to be voting no, is it? :)

No. I'm just shocked.

I like it but it always sounds a bit to shouty for me and there is no melody in his voice. That's my opinion anyway. But I kinda like it anyway.... haha

It's kinda cool I guess but I think Billie would do a better job. Tre's singing is better IMO.

The part when he sings is actually my favorite part of the song.

i absolutely love mike's voice on this song......it took me a few listens to recognise it but it's great.

I have a thing for Mike singing . He's wonderful on this, "I don't give a shit about the modern age!" is surely my favourite part of the song. I suppose singing back ups for Billie so well for so long means he usually sounds quite a lot like him, but he really comes into his own on this.

It's funny even though he obviously doesn't sing lead vocals in The Frustrators, his American Eulogy parts have a real Frustrators ring to them, I like it.

This was posted on the first page, but I have to say... AH HA! EVER since American Idiot came out I've been wondering, and wondering, everytime I hear Homecoming, if that was Mike or Billie singing at that part. I was never sure because I knew that Tre sang his part on Homecoming, but I could never ever tell if Mike sang his part too or if Billie just did it.

My long time question has been answered.

Then you simply must watch a video of Homecoming live, watching Mike sing his part is spectacular! My favourite is Storytellers but it's not on youtube but this'll do, mmm yeah:

I love it! Mike did a great job. I'd definitely like to hear more singing from him.

I always loved Billie's voice and I still do. In Homecoming I kinda feel like... "yeah finally he's singing again" after Tre's and Mike's parts. That doesn't mean that I don't like it, I just prefer Billie to sing. And it's the same with American Eulogy... it's nice that Mike has this part and I like it, but Billie just has a better voice and is the better singer.

He did a great job. I love it whenever he or Tre sings. They have great voices, and it's nice to hear Mike or Tre's voice once in a while. Not that I'm sick of Billie's voice or anything. :P

I love Mike's voice. And he's a good singer... Mike's singing makes American Eulogy one of my favourites off 21st CB

i think his voice fitts really good with this song... but in the end billys is much better

He seems to have improved since AI, some of the notes on that sound a bit strained to say the least. I like the idea of him doing more writing and singing athough he does look nervous in that video further up.

Overall, Mike =
