Seedless_Reject Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Did anyone else notice that Billie Joe had one of the doll hands at the end and was poking Will with it?
forget_me_nots Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Did anyone else notice that Billie Joe had one of the doll hands at the end and was poking Will with it? My friends wouldn't let me watch the end. =( They are all Green Day haters. Hmph.
MusicalDeviant Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I got a little nervous at first with the last skit, because of the possible PTSD theme. I thought Tre' was going to break down. And when they poked fun of Obama at times in the skits, I was worried that they were going to split. I get worried over random things.Yeah, you do. No offense of course. I think the boys are very confident in their beliefs, but are open to other people's ideas and beliefs. Not everyone will agree with you, and sometimes may be downright offensive. But is SNL, and none of it is intended to be malicious. They know this. I doubt they'd agree to go on if they were worried they would be inappropriately insulted.

Seedless_Reject Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 My friends wouldn't let me watch the end. =( They are all Green Day haters. Hmph.I've got friends like that. Can somebody post the clip?
MusicalDeviant Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 no offense takenThat's good. Tre's father was not the only solider from Vietnam to suffer from PTSD. Several thousands of soldiers came home with this issue. This skit would have offended many people, not just Tre. But humor can't always be inoffensive. If anything, Green Day can appreciate the need to be offensive. Also, It just occurred to me that if the South Park guys take a swing at our Boys, I will hunt them down and beat the living crap out of them. Because that's a step too far.
SlappyDJ1 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 can someone ost the ending thing where green day came out and tom hanks gave him a wtf look? and was that really tom hanks? it really looked like him.

If they know what's good for them. *cracks knuckles menacingly*
