Anja Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 BTW, for those interested in hearing more of Jason... check out http://www.theinfluents.netThe band broke up several years ago, but they put their two albums up for free download on the site!!! Thanks for the link. I just downloaded all of the songs
Tiffx Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I do but I still like him very much Although I gotta say, I would never "accept" him as a fourth member or so cause GD are only BJ, Tré and Mike to me <3lol Green Day have made it this far I don't think they will think about adding a new member now. In say that, Jason White really gives their live shows more depth. The man doesn't get enough credit around here.
Jack96 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 he must have been involved somehow because in the Q interview there is picture of BJ, mike Tre and JASOn playing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
Sharmellow Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 No he's not. It's all Billie who did the guitar riffs.

gdpunk2 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Now I dont know if it was like this during American idiot, but Jason White is getting a lot more camera view now I noticed. Almost as if he is now an actual member of the band. Obviously this isent true. Perhaps he did a few guitars for this album for some reason, probably nothing bigI agree. Jason is a great guitarist and singer in his own right. I think he works well with the band live, and without him a lot of the newer material wouldn't sound the same on the road. BTW, for those interested in hearing more of Jason... check out http://www.theinfluents.netThe band broke up several years ago, but they put their two albums up for free download on the site!!! Hey man, thanks a lot, this stuf is awesome
tq6993 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 i always get Jason Freese and Jason White mixed up. So Freese is the touring guitarist and White is the multi instrumentalist person? right? but i think in BIAB Billie asks "Mr. Freese to give him some of that uk blues" isnt freese the saxaphone guy? im confused... :/
thisisAB Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I can't remember why I hated Jason White before. For quite some time now, I'm really really appriciating him, he's a great guitarist, very unselfish (doesn't take away form Green Day) and a close friend to Green Day. He's such a great addition to the band, I don't think anyone could be a better touring guitarist for Green Day than him.
ThrillerIOH11 Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I am positive that Billie plays the guitar on the record because jason has too clean of a sound and it sounds different when he plays it. Billies got that hard punk picking on every note and you can hear that Billie digs deeper into the strings

White = guitaristFreese = pianist, keyboard player, saxophonist and avid visitor of online pornograpy
Guest Hayley Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 What's up with the Jason hate? Lol. He really looks like a nice person to me!I thought he was a touring guitarist, to help Billie out. So Billie could jump and do crazy things haha, actually I can see your point and I don't see anything wrong with Jason White.
