Starred Thoughts Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 It really is hard to narrow them down; but Charlatans and Saints has a special place in my heart
Harriet Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Either Heroes and Cons or Charlatans and Saints. I can't decide!
NowhereBound Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 It's really hard, but I think Charlatans and Saints is my fav
MassHysteria Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Charlatans and Saints, the songs in there are all really good, and flow really well with each other.
Hermione Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Come to think of it, I really don't notice the acts at all when I'm listening to the album and they don't signify anything in my mind. I like the idea of acts, it definitely fits such a grand and epic album of this kind, but in the end I just think of the album as a whole. There doesn't seem to be any particular link between the songs in any given act, they might as well not exist as far as listening to the album goes for me.But I do like the titles, like splitting up the chapters in a story . Even if the way they're split isn't that significant.
Billiejoerules_1996 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Mine is Horseshoes & Handgrenades. I like every song on that act. I do like the other acts as well but for some reason I like this one more. What's your favorite?
Nele Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 you can discuss this here i think:http://www.greendaycommunity.org/Forum/ind...e+act+from+21CB

Supermodel*Robot Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Charlatans & Saints. Mostly because I'm always in the mood for that act.
toaster_poodle Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Definitely Horseshoes and Handgrenades. Horseshoes and Handgrenades, Static Age, 21 Guns, and American Eulogy are very possibly my four favorite songs on the whole album, and See the Light is just a perfect ending.Heroes and Cons would be second, they're all great songs but the don't stand out to me as much as H&H. The title track and iViva La Gloria! are two of the masterpieces of the album, but the rest I can kind of take or leave. Know Your Enemy as great for what it is, as is Last Night on Earth. I really like the structure of Before the Lobotomy, but there's something about it that kind of holds it back for me. Christian's Inferno is a cool song, but that's about it. Charlatans and Saints is hit-or-miss for me. East Jesus Nowhere, Last of the American Girls, and Murder City are great, and Restless Heart Syndrome is a great song but I kind of have to be in the right mood to listen to it. Peacemaker I also enjoy a lot when I'm in the right mood, but it almost seems like a novelty thing...and I don't like Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl) much at all, definitely my least favorite song on the album and possibly my least favorite they've ever done.
TreCool_Is_God Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Horseshoes and Handgrenades ^_^I love Tre's tatto on his arm with horseshoes and handgrenades on it.
