TheBullwinkle Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Floor tickets are the only way to go, especially for Green Day.
klytaemnestra Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 i had to get seats for green day since floor was over 14s only and they ID according to my mate \:plus im a bit claustrophobic. im okay at smaller gigs though.
Eighty. Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Floor tickets in the first row it's like a dream well, i think I'll can't be standing, god I need to stay the most nearly from them.
gdpunk2 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Well, whenever im seated at an arena or stadium, nearly everyone stands up because once one person stands, hes in some other dudes way so he stands up and so on. To be honest, i like seating, especially for a band like Green Day because then I can just sit/stand whatever happenes at this gig and just watch the show and observe every moment of it, call me wierd but thats just how I like itnice signature =)
GreenDayrocks!!!! Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I've never been to concert but I've got floor tickets for my first. I think I'll like this much better than being 1000 feet from them and having to watch on the bug TV screens. Hello, thats what I have a TV at home for. Besides, as other people have said, how could you SIT DOWN during a Green Day concert? Or any concert for that matter.Floor all the way!Besides, if you're on the floor you have the opprotunity to catch any objects they might throw into the crowd.
Radioactive1 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 For the seated seats though I don't think anyone will be literally sat down. I usually sit at MEN but as soon as the band comes on I'm standing. How can anyone sit down for any concert? Whether its Green Day or not. An automatic reaction is to just stand up.
mad hatter. Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I've never been to a concert, but when I got my tickets for Hartford, I got floor ones. I can't imagine being in seated for any type of rock concert.
IzButt Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'd suggest GA but I don't wanna get squashed and kicked around. I've had shitty GA concert experiences.Tell me, is GA generally very crazy and rowty at Green Day concerts?I mean I can understand some craziness but are the people kicking you and pushing you and acting like jerks?
suicidexmakeover Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 floor tickets are always my first option and i would probably go as far to say if i couldn't get standing, i wouldn't bother going. but what would be cool would be to watch a band standing and see the same show sat down. then you get both experiences.
sam409 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Standing everytime!I've been to around 75 gigs and always been in standing. On the American Idiot tour I didn't manage to get Manchester tickets for the first date. There was seated but instead I paid £75 per ticket. Completely worth it.
Hermione Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I have standing tickets for my Green Day gig at the O2, I'm going to get there really early to get near the front. Gotta be in ogling distance, innit
saurus Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'm a partially sighted cripple. Floor tickets mean I can see better but also means my shoulder gets killed. Seated means I can't see as well but don't spend my time at the gig in a stupid amount of pain. Music, for me, is about the sound. Whether you're seated or standing you still get completely submerged in sound, so I prefer sitting.
sam409 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'm really small so I can get there anytime I want and still get to the front, hehe.I remember at Leeds 2004 50 Cent was on right before Green Day. We just sat at the back having a drink. Went into the crowd when Green Day came on and within 2 songs I was at the barrier. You don't have to get there early to get to the front! My mission for this tour is the play Knowledge. Seen Green Day 8 times so far with no luck (althoug he picked the drummer who was the guy standing RIGHT NEXT TO ME grrr)I'm going to 5 dates this time....it's gotta happen!!
sam409 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Yay for small people!Good for getting to the front and being lifted upBad for being elbow/shoulder height and getting your head battered!
Adrii1039 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 floor seats are what i want.im actually going to go to another state to see Green Day because the floor seats for Miami are sold out.I mean, I don't wanna be sitting in a fucking chair while the most amazing band is playing right before my eyes. lol.so the solution is, i'm going to go to the Chicago show instead.
TheBullwinkle Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I like the smell of body odor so floor.I like the feel of it.
TheBullwinkle Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 You feel odor? Haha.Oh yeah. All over mah body.
Guest TwoDollarMellie Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 From what I've heard, seat tickets guarantee a good view of the band (as long as its a good seat that faces the stage).Floor seats... if you're lucky or happen to be very very tall.I'd prefer to be able to see everything from a seat, rather than be close but blocked by a mass of tall people.
Andrick Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 standing is the only way to go. whats this about seating, come on people.
eighteen Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I have GA tickets for Fargo, and I'm getting seats for Minneapolis. If I were going to one I'm not sure what I would do because I get claustrophobic and freak out real easy being jammed up against people, but the chance of being so close to the band is almost enough to endure it. This way though I'll get to just chill out for the 2nd night.
NowhereBound Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Well, i've never been to a concert before, and the only reason my parents will let me go is if i get seating. They are worried bout the moshpits. :/ So i have no choice whatsoever
