Hermione Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 If it was me then songs > artwork, so I'd get the live tracks if I was choosing. That and it's cheaper. But it depends what you prefer. And you might be able to find the tracks online anyway, so in that case maybe the artwork one. Imagine you own each of them and see which brings you the most happiness
TheBullwinkle Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 So did my friend. When I went there to buy one, they didn't have any in stock.I was like, wtf? That sucks. Best Buy are a bunch of bitches.
Sharmellow Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 That sucks. Best Buy are a bunch of bitches. I agree. And some of the electronics there have ridiculously high prices, comparing to other stores.I bought this camera on sale there and when I checked the other store, the same brand, same kind was 35$ cheaper.I could have bought a new cd with that 35$.
deathtofalsesushi Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Get both, that's what I'm going to try to do.I read somewhere that the Target extra tracks version is only available online, is this true? I hope it's not. :/It was in the Sunday newspaper ad, which implies that it will be available in the store. Who knows though, some stores might still not stock it (or enough copies of it)
Dai. Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 To those saying "buy both", not all of us have the ability to crap money. If he has to choose it's obvious he can't get both.To the thread starter, I'd suggest you get the artwork version, and then illegally download those 6 songs on torrents or wherever.
Green Day Luigi Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I read somewhere that the Target extra tracks version is only available online, is this true? I hope it's not. :/Actually no. It's actually going to only be available in the actual store. Here's Target's weekly ad: http://weeklyad.target.com/target/default....ref=sc_iw_l_0_4Go to page 18-19 of the ad, and click on the Green Day CD on the bottom right corner (the bottom half of it). It says the special edition one is only available in stores.Edit: Dang, SatonofSuburbia beat me to it.
deathtofalsesushi Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I kind of have the feeling the bonus CD is going to be the same as this (see the tracks after Favorite Son):http://www.deepdiscount.com/American-Idiot...9VVviewprod.htmAnd if so, live versions of all six of those songs are on Bullet in a Bible, I don't think they'll sound drastically different here.
dallasthemenace Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 id say get the live tracks 1st. then try and get the other asap.id rather have tunes than graphics anyday.
Guest Hayley Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 If I were you, I'd choose the one with the artwork...
