I think I didn't like it at first mostly because I'm just so used to the original...It sounds good though. I want to hear the whole thing.But I kind of wish that we'd have gotten these tracks another time, like sometime before the album release or something. Right now I'm very excited about these covers, but I know I'll forget all about them when I hear anything off 21st Century Breakdown on Friday..!

In the original, the 6 parts were lead sung by, in order, - the group, drummer keith moon, lead singer roger daltry, bassist John Entwhistle, roger again, and guitarist pete townshend. (of course, you all should already know that! :wink: )what would be awesome is if Billie Joe sang Pete/rogers lines, Mike sang John's part (Ivor the engine driver), which is in a lower register like he usually sings, and Tre sang Keith's part in the second section! (crying town)

However, the best cover of Like A Rolling Stone is when Bob Dylan performed it in 1974 on Before The Flood. You just knew it wasn't the original.
