chickin'pickin' Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Fuck the support of the king blues. The music is pretty good, yes, But the frontman jives about like a fucking tit. He acts more like a rapper than somebody fronting a rock band.
Minority_GD Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Billy Talent would be great, but I'd love to see Simple Plan touring with them.
Palmer89 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 They should try and get frank turner to do it. could be a nice touch. i reckon bouncing souls is a very strong possibility. possibly against me as an outsider. but please, anything but the indie tripe that the us are getting. knowing our luck we will probably get exactly thatThey should try and get frank turner to do it. could be a nice touch. i reckon bouncing souls is a very strong possibility. possibly against me as an outsider. but please, anything but the indie tripe that the us are getting. knowing our luck we will probably get exactly thatHopefully not, am seeing FT 3 days after seeing Green Day. He's on a tour so won't be him.Gaslight Anthem, Simple Plan (since they couldn't last time) and a reformation of Yellowcard would suit me.
Guest PlasticUndead Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I agree with who ever said Rancid, that would be quite a freakin' awesome gig. This is way out there but if Wednesday 13 did it it'd be perfect O.O The two hottest men in the world all at once... I know that's next to impossible but still, a girl can dream.
Nele Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Mhh, never thought about that. But I'm actually a bit upset because America already got Franz Ferdinand. (Or is there a chnce they'll play here too? Whould be dreamy. )And I hope it won't be Billy Talent.
04rebhop Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 It if was Muse i think i would die of happiness. Both my favorite bands on one night would be a dream come true.
Mrs. Nobody Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 gallows would be epic, but why the fuck would they support GD?BT would be cool, and tbh i wouldn't mind any stupid punk rock band that gets the crowd going and smiling.
suicidexmakeover Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 hopefully no one and then we can get to the good stuff
Franzi Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Fingers crossed for the Foxboro hot tubs. They haven't toured Europe yet i'd def enjoy that
M.K. Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Well its probably not gunna be it, but i think that if they toured with the offspring or blink 182 that would just be the most amazing punk tour ever.more likely bands that they could take on i think are sugarcult, sum 41, rise against, the all american rejects etc
Franzi Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 The Rasmus? I wishewwif they would take the rasmus with them to germany, 80% of the crowd would def get wasted outside at the barbut maybe thats just the basic german opinion. cos we think they suck real bad, mani dont really think they would take Billy Talent eitherAnd Anti-Flag would be awesome. i saw them live before and they kicked ass.but i would bet my money on a more pop-ish, indie-ish band. or something like Hard-Fii would love to see them tour with The Kills, or The Living End. That would be awesomeWell its probably not gunna be it, but i think that if they toured with the offspring or blink 182 that would just be the most amazing punk tour ever.more likely bands that they could take on i think are sugarcult, sum 41, rise against, the all american rejects etcwell they toured with Blink beforeand billie joe once said that sum41 are lame. so i dont think he would want to tour with them xD
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I really hope its Gaslight Anthem, they fit the bill as an up and coming American punk/rock band, they are the best band I've discovered this year and the '59 Sound is a great album. I really don't want a UK band unless it's Arctic Monkeys (the only band I like more than Green Day) or Muse.
M.K. Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I would like, and laugh, and they toured with foxboro hot tubs or the network (which could play some songs from their upcomin album omega3000 xD)
Elis_x Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 ewwi would love to see them tour with The Kills, or The Living End. That would be awesomeand billie joe once said that sum41 are lame. so i dont think he would want to tour with them xDyep The Kills would be cool and sum41 are lame and I'm happy that billie joe doesn't like them either.
Agija Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Billy Talent would be awesome. But I'd be okay with anthing that sounds good enough.
Bexie. Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 The Rasmus? I wishare you fuckin delusional? the rasmus? i think im going to have to take that as if you were joking..
Sister of Grace Posted May 13, 2009 Author Posted May 13, 2009 Broadway Calls would be awesome as well as BT. Broadway Calls is a good guess I think!
Nomis Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Another band to chuck in the mix, Jimmy Eat World they would be quality.
steve2606 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 As long as they don't get Hard-Fi again, I'll be happy.
Nomis Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 As long as they don't get Hard-Fi again, I'll be happy.Think i'd rather watch paint dry.
Hermione Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Literally anyone would be an improvement on the AI tour selection. I dream of Hot Tubs
Nuck Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 the last time, 2005, it was new found glory...i don't think it's going to be billy talent Mmmmh...but hard to say..i have no clue
Guest Hayley Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'd like to see either billy talent or kings of leon touring with them.
