Juliette Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Nimrod 3rd worst ? Not a chance. And wtf, Dookie's not THAT good.
Boston Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Also, 21st (which isn't on there anyway) and AE don't really fit in the list since they are almost like a completely different band. There are obvious "classic Green Day" moments on each of those albums. They're just mixed in with mature lyrics and more of a classic-rock feel. But if you feel that way, Warning should be lumped into a different category as well. I think that Green Day's "mature & concerned" phase began with Warning way back in 2000.

Farah Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 i don't see why i should agree...everyone has their own taste..i think it's pointless that they make a worst to best list..
mechanicalman Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 7. 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours6. Kerplunk5. Insomniac4. American Idiot3. Dookie2. Warning1. NimrodTop 3 are pretty close.
Rita Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I totally disagree with it. Warning and Nimrod are absolutely amazing.
Ally Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 i don't see why i should agree...everyone has their own taste..i think it's pointless that they make a worst to best list..yeah thats what i thought, but i did it anyway but yeah everyone has there own opinions of the albums, and reasons behind why they like others better
Starbug Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 totally disagree, they have no right putting Warning, 39/smooth and ESPECIALLY nimrod in the last 3 places. dookie is probably 2nd to last or last place for me. 21stCB...wow i usually hate to play favorites but that album just drop-kicked Shenanigans from my number one spot. and you were worried you was gonna hate it! hahaI knew you wouldn't!
The Disappearing Boy Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 That's shit. All of the albums are the best
warding_off_regrets Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 They put Warning at the bottom and Dookie at the top? Wow, that wasn't predictable at all.
Princess Consuela Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Ha even though I already ranked them 1-7, really it'd be more accurate to say... Nimrod, Dookie, American Idiot - equal 1st placeInsomniac, Kerplunk, Warning - equal 2nd place39/Smooth - 3rd placeBut all fabulous . If I was going to include side bands, Money Money 2020 would be in with 3rd place, and Stop Drop and Roll would be in with 1st place I like the way you think I wonder where you're going to put 21st CB
Snorri Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 8. Kerplunk!7. 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours6. Nimrod5. Insomniac4. Dookie3. Warning2. American Idiot1. 21st Century BreakdownWow, it's really hard choosing what's best of 8 things you love !
Haushinkaholic Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 That's shit. All of the albums are the bestI like you too...after listening to all pre AI albums on the way to work, on my lunch break and on the bus home, I've had my belief reaffirmed that they are all just amazing, and Nimrod is the most amazing of them all. When I die I want all of my friends to just listen to that album once through, they'll know pretty much all there is to know about me afterwards.

Sharmellow Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 So many people have 1039/smooth as #7.That's a shocker. Now that I look at it, I can't really pick the "worst" album. :/ None of them are my "least" favorite.
Tiffx Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I like you too...after listening to all pre AI albums on the way to work, on my lunch break and on the bus home, I've had my belief reaffirmed that they are all just amazing, and Nimrod is the most amazing of them all. When I die I want all of my friends to just listen to that album once through, they'll know pretty much all there is to know about me afterwards. That is so true. I want that whole album played at my funeral, or my wedding... something sentimental like that.
Guest Hayley Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I don't agree with the list. If it was up to me I'd say:1. Dookie2. Warning3. American Idiot4. Nimrod5. Insomniac6. Kerplunk7. 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy HoursWell, I don't know for the 21CB..
Haushinkaholic Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I love you Woop! My internet Mojo strikes again
