TheBullwinkle Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 He'll just continue to jump in pools after performances! (that was Letterman, right?)Yeah, that was Letterman. But he probably got rid of the pools specifically because of Tré. Are tickets to Letterman the same as SNL?Raffled off during the season and only possible to get stand bys if you wait all night?I know for tickets to Conan, you were just supposed to email them your info the week before to get tickets. Of course, I didn't end up with tickets, and Letterman is on a different network, so... :/
Renjini Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 maybe that show is true, maybe after letterman, they'll have the show
Tripe Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Letterman Ticket Request:http://lateshow.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow...o/tickets/form/You have to be 18. They also have same day ticket requests for those who line up in the morning. Then it's random for who gets those tickets from all those who show up that morning. I kind of like this procedure, fairer for those who can't stay in line all day.Interesting thing there for the Groups Application for tickets. That might be another way in. If we could get 10 people to commit to being there, there is an application for groups of friends, groups of coworkers, etc. that they are accepting for shows in April and May. Hmmmm. Everyone has to be over age 18.Of course, if there is a show later at the Bowery or wherever, most of us would more than likely want to be lined up for that show by 5:30. So, yeah.

So, yeah.OH MY GOD THATS A BRILLIANT IDEA.I would so be willing to do that group thing.Anybody else here with me!? (and I mean people who are actually 18+ and from New York, please)
Tripe Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Wellllllll, I'm not from NY. But I would come in for this, and other things if they are happening. My only concern would be about losing out in a place in line for a show that night just to see a single performance on Letterman. I'd rather see a full show from a good viewpoint, fo sho.

Parley Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 If any of you guys go to Letterman, just be sure to bring a warm sweater or jacket. Guests aren't kidding when they talk about how cold it is in that theater.I went to one taping in the winter and one in the summer. I froze my ass off both times! Can't wait to see GD on that show again. Dave loves them!!
