tuwlol Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 lol you know im just jealous because i never was able to get one oh yea, and the two rock/hits channels that we have on our radio here have never played KYE that im aware of.Friday is FUSE's "green day day" right?I've never even HEARD of Fuse.Well, I haven't seen Green Day on the news or any physical newspaper or anything but I know there is a lot of hype about it because I get 100+ google alerts each day from whenever Green Day is mentioned..It isn't on the radio a lot as far as I can tell, although it seems like it should be because it's number one and two on the Billboard modern rock and some other Billboard chart.Expectations of it seem to be pretty high with acknowledgment to American Idiot. Many major music magazines and websites (the obvious example being Rolling Stone) gave it higher ratings and better reviews than AI and AI was pretty beastly (as we all know ).I'm sure once the album comes out, it'll receive as much widespread fame as AI did..and we'll have makeup and school bags with like Christian and Gloria and gas masks and stuff on them...and it'll be insanely ridiculous all over again.

I thought I had it before, but when I opened it and saw it was red and a different picture, I never saw it before she gave it to me.I can't seem to find a picture online of the red one, but I found this one I never saw.

Plus their earrings are junk, they always fall apart.

Plus their earrings are junk, they always fall apart.Agreed.My friend bought earrings with lightning bolts on them or something, the first time she wore them, they snapped off.She never bought anything from there since.I personally like to shop accessories from this one stand in the mall called Kool Crazed or something similar to that name.They have rad belts and shirts.

AI was a huge money maker. For the last few years almost everything has been Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. Mostly Hannah Montana.

dallasthemenace Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 to answer the question, and get back on topic....i havent seen any sort of huge hype here in my region (the southern US)...the media around here, from what i gather, is playing it a bit more casual, like, "hey, remember these guys?? yeah, theyre back...check it out...", rather than shoving images and sounds of the band down our throats...not aware of much radio play here, but i do see the tv spots once in a while. i suspect after the album comes out, there will be more promo for it. but im not expecting anything huge 'til the next single drops.ive yet to see any music store adverts either...and still havent gotten my promo materials from the street team.

And a notebook. i got the BOBD sign from cinderblock and 3 years later its still hanging above my bed with paperclips!i had 2 pens, both of which broke and now i can't find anymore. Hermione, stuff will be easier to find once the new album comes out. i remember up untill 2007 there was even a lot of stuff made by fans on ebay, 2 of the 3 band shirts i have were home made by somebody and there's stuff like magnets and buttons with their faces on it. there was an AMAZING jacket which, 3 and a half years later, i still lament over not buying!i haven't even seen advertisements on any music channels promoting the new album...
