Warning. I think they were maturing so much at that point, and I would have loved to have seen where that direction could have taken them. Not that AI wasn't mature, just mature in a different way I guess. It's hard to explain.

It's hard to choose between AI and Warning. AI was the first Green Day album I had ever heard, and I like the majority of the songs. However, Warning is more my favorite kind of music and it's the only Green Day album I can can listen to front to back and love every song.

I chose Kerplunk....fuckin' hard choice though!!!! I just love the raw sound of Kerplunk and the fact that it's a little bit dark in places and it's totally fun and hilarious in other places. So good.

American Idiot received my vote couse this album is so powerful, a great rock opera & the storyline is so clear unlike 21CB which is a bit chaotic.
