Green Day Luigi Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Bullet In A Bible. But since that's not in the poll, I voted for Insomniac.
DeehAlencar Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 srry bout the sig, i had no idea it was that huge... it wasnt showing here :~
Mayra Vicious Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I have to say Dookie, and American Idiot Haven't heard all the songs from 21CB yet, but when I have maybe I change my mind
DeJennsitized Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 and it's such a problem to add one option to poll? No, but that wouldn't be fair; everyone would have already voted without hearing 21stCB. I voted for Warning, but honestly it changes so often. I haven't had time to let 21stCB grow on my yet, but it does have the potential to be a favourite
SynthwaveTrooper Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 srry bout the sig, i had no idea it was that huge... it wasnt showing here :~it's all good, and welcome to the site!
vegetarianxorgasm Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Man I can't even choose anymore.21st Century Breakdown is just sooooo good, but I hate to say their newest album is the best. Aw, screw it. 21st Century Breakdown.
DarrenDookie Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Wow, a landslide for 21st Century Breakdown, I havent listened to it yet so thats promising I still love Insomniac
gd86arg Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 1 Insomniac2 Kerplunk3 Dookie4 21st Century Breakdown5 Nimrod6 1,039 / Smoothed Out Slappy Hours7 American Idiot8 Warning
Spark of Insanity Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I'll always be a Nimrod lover, but its a tie between that and 21st Century Breakdown.
Juan Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Nimrod. 21stCB has a nice change of taking its place though
Sharmellow Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Wow, is 21st Century Breakdown that good to be winning by a landslide?I haven't listened to it yet. :/
day1_9 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 i really love the new album, but american idiot will always be my favorite. it's touched my heart unlike any other album....ever
Juju Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Kerplunk! was the first album of theirs I ever heard, and after that, I guess my expectations were too high, and every album after that just didn't measure up, until Nimrod. came along. Then, everything started being amazing and wondrous again.but I still think that Kerplunk is by far my favorite GD album.
Peel Slowly And See Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I'll get back to you when I decide between Warning: and 21st Century Breakdown.
Fulano Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Now it's 21st Century Breakdown...But i'll never forget DOOKIE...
Hermione Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 48.10% to 21st CB? Come on now that's just excessive!Although I'll probably say the same on Friday.Hermione shenanigans so does count, you secretly know it does but i'd have to go with Nimrod too. i just love the whole tone of it. i think Kerplunk or Dookie is my last choice, idk. its been a long time (like 2 months) since i've really listened to any album since my CD player died though.DO NOT But excellent choice
Peel Slowly And See Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Compilations of any sort never count. Same goes for live albums.I voted Warning: because it needed the help more than 21st Century Breakdown. I still haven't picked yet, and I don't expect to any time soon. I'm listening to both like crazy. It's like choosing between The Clash and London Calling, Purple Rain and Sign "O" The Times, Rubber Soul and Abbey Road, Let It Bleed and Exile On Main St., Mellow Gold and Odelay, The Who Sell Out and Who's next, Are You Experienced? and Electric Ladyland, Bringing It All Back Home and Blonde On Blonde, Radio City and Third/Sister Lovers, or Paul Simon and Graceland.Yeah, all of those comparisons seem apt. For those interested, the scorecard remains...The Clash<London CallingPurple Rain<Sign "O" The TimesRubber Soul>Abbey RoadLet It Bleed<Exile On Main St.Mellow Gold<OdelayThe Who Sell Out>Who's nextAre You Experienced?<Electric LadylandBringing It All Back Home>Blonde On BlondeRadio City<Third/Sister LoversPaul Simon<Graceland
Justice Not Charity Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 nice to see warning up there. surprised that 21CB is soo high up there. even though its good, i would expect something else.but KERPLUNK is by far my favorite, and in my opinion their BEST work to date.
Teenage Kicks! Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I love love Insomniac ...but 21st is taking me over....
b u r n o u t Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Ugh...I can't decide. Too many wonderful and different flavors.
