Nele Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 the...what??why the hell have they picked such awful bands oO god..I hope we'll got a COOL supportband for the european tour -.-I don't think they are that bad after I listened to a few songs. But, well they won't play at my gig anyway. (Yep, I call it my gig.)Actually I have no idea witch band could support them here.
TomDB Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 i'm now a bit excited about the uk's cos now all of usa has their support, next one to be announced is europe where i guess it will be same act across the continent
aahhhh Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 this band is garbage. i went to a radio sponsored show a couple years back (big mistake) and i had the misfortune of seeing them "perform." i would be shocked if that band was actually performing anything live. they just pranced around the stage like assholes while their cd played over the pa.i was hoping they weren't a band anymore, but dreams dont always come true
novacaine_kid Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Haha just when you thought it could not get any worse for you americans. this has to be the worst support line up i have ever seen in my life. now i just hope and pray for some decent punk rock support in europe instead of this indie cack
Tiffx Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 lol I think they sing that song Be Yourself. Either way, what shit.
Nobody_Likes_You Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I've seen The Bravery live once. Wasn't that great, but tbh I didn't even concentrated on the music.
ScreamsInSilence815 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I have their first cd...they're alright. It's just kinda random....they're the band I least expected to tour with Green Day lol I think they sing that song Be Yourself. That's Audioslave, I believe...
Guest TwoDollarMellie Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 The band I like isn't playing my city, and the band I don't like is. Oh well.
Angela. Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 This is really weird. If you go to the Green Day website, the first thing that comes up is the list of dates/venues/supporting acts. If you scroll down to the Pittsburgh show (the one I'll be attending), you'll notice that there is no supporting act. What the hell? I'm not complaining at all. I'm just confused. I mean, I'm pretty sure that The Bravery is supposed to play with GD from 7/3 - 7/25. Pittsburgh would obviously be included in that. Oh, well. I guess it's just strange that every other show date has a supporting act, and this one show doesn't.
SOMERTEN Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I like the look of The Bravery the best out of the three so far. I wouldn't mind them supporting in the UK they look like they may go places. I was rootin for Prima Donna up till now.I have never liked the Kaiser Chiefs. Their best songs wouldn't be allowed on a Green Day B-side. Franz are ok but dressing like tailor shop dummies is not very rock n roll. I like my men crusty with tatoos!
