**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I voted Null..not that I love all the songs, I just don't have a least favorite.but at least you have them.
Guest Billy Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I voted for See The Light. It's not even bad, it just unremarkable...so far. What part does everyone not like about Christian's Inferno? The verses or the chorus?Oh OK, I read some of the earlier posts...so the verses and chorus don't really fit together. I kind of agree with that. I would've liked them to have taken the sound of the verses and developed that further.i hate the Chorus of the song, the verse itself is amazing.
Kate Austen Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 no can sue anyone for guitar riffs. theres only so many chords so nothing thats done can be originalYeah true.Joe Satarini sued Coldplay over Viva La Vida. I guess that was more over a melody - but still, was total BS (even if you hate coldplay). People are just too sue happy now adays.
pooldude256 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 no can sue anyone for guitar riffs. theres only so many chords so nothing thats done can be originalI'm getting so tired of the music industry today. Every day you turn around and some artist is suing another artist for ripping off their riff or song they supposedly created. It's all about fucking money. None of it is done to preserve artist integrity because most songs will in some way manage to rip off some song unintentionally. Like you said above...basically everything can be considered a rip-off today. There are only certain chords, and it's not about what chords you play, it's about what you do with them. This is the main reason I hardly ever pay for music anymore. The RIAA has just fucked over the music world.Lawsuits in music/art should just be rendered illegal, in the interest of protecting the artists. What is the motivation for artists who have to fear that their asses might get sued for something they did unintentionally?Sorry for ranting. Just felt like getting that out there..
billie-joe-geek72 Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Christian's Inferno.It's the beginning I don't like.

But it's actually societies overall mentality. People in general sue over anything now a days.
Guest Shangri-La Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Does Christian's Inferno really suck that bad?
Juan Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Does Christian's Inferno really suck that bad?no, I like it, it's like abstract neo-punk-new-wave on the verses and standard Green Day on the chorus, so it's a weird mesh, kinda like Dr. Pepper

It seems like the kind of song fans from the early 90's would like, actually. Like the die-hard 1039/kerplunk fans. Don't know why, it just seems like more of an older song.
Kate Austen Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Does Christian's Inferno really suck that bad?The pre-chorus and intro do, sure. The Chorus is pretty catchy, and so is the guitar solo. But yeah, I def think it ruins the flow of the album at that point.

It seems like the kind of song fans from the early 90's would like, actually. Like the die-hard 1039/kerplunk fans. Don't know why, it just seems like more of an older song.Fans FROM the early 90's? We weren't even in kindergarten mister..

"I don't wanna live in the modern world because I said I loved you but I lied I don't wanna live in the modern world but can I touch you there?"
Haydée Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I think that maybe if KYE was not a single I'd like it more.Just the fact that people won't be able to listen one of the amazing tracks these cd has, makes me mad I was telling to all my friends: WAIT. JUST WAIT UNTIL GD COMES AGAIN.And then this comes and they're: woo, I like it.well, at least they'll be surprised with the other songs.
Kate Austen Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Alright, I'm taking off for a little alone time (sweaty dirty --------) then off to bed. UmmmmNight

I have no problem with them ripping off the clash.BTL sounds like it's straight out of a disney movie. It reminds me of that movie "Fivel" about the mouse who gets lost on a boat.
