Hmm, tough one.

Probably Static Age. Should be a good live song but I definitely don't like it right now.

And I really think people would dig Know Your Enemy if it weren't a single. The only thing the song misses, in my opinion, is some build-up.

I loved all the songs i heared tonight.

but i think i'll have to wait to judge till i heard the album on friday.

Viva la Gloria! it just doesn't really do much for me apart from the ending.

My favourite is Horseshoes and Handgrenades, it's epicness with sound :D

Christians Inferno is amazing :( How can you think it's the worst :L.

actually, I've changed my mind to static age instead.

it's too hard, i like all the songs!

I like them all.

I would have to say Know Your Enemy and maybe Horseshoes and Handgrenades =/

wtf know your enemy is the best!!! well i havnt listened to the entire album yet, but from the 7 songs i heard, know your enemy was the least boring.

Shame to see Christian's Inferno up there.

KYE is a decent song too, there are much worse, aka Restless Heart Syndrome/Peacemaker/The Static Age. I think people are just bored of KYE seeing as it's the song they are most familiar with so it's difficult as a basis of comparison.

Restless heart syndrome

Too much hate for KYE.

Restless Heart, fuck its boring, its way to Coldplay-ish for Green Day.

Knowing me though, it will be my favourite song after 3 more listens

Probably Christians Inferno or Static Age. I don't remember what Static Age sounds like so I'm assuming I didn't like it that much.

Well, to be fair Static Age is exactly what I was expecting form this album, it sounds like a follow up to AI really. It's amazing, but still...

I agree, it just didn't do anything for me. It seemed out of place when I first listened to it and all wrong.

So I knew it wouldn't be one that I would listen to as often as the others.

Same here.

Wow there's lots of KYE hate

I dont really get why people don't like Know Your Enemy. I agree with the notion that it shouldn't have been the first single but it's not a bad song.

static age is pretty good

Ill give it another listen.

i think i might have changed my opinion on this from Before The Lobotomy to Christian's Inferno

that just goes to show you how different opinions can be even on a green day forum, those are my two favorties off the album!

i have to say...probably Pacemaker. KYE is a close second but it's repedative chords and vocals are constantly stuck in my head, forcing me to enjoy it more than i should. and my opinions of East Jesus Nowhere have changed from loathe to almost really liking it.

maybe.

I say Christian's Inferno. It's not a BAD song, but I think I just expected it to be better than it was.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I'm getting a little annoyed with Know Your Enemy, too repetitive for my liking.

Although, there are a few songs that are repetitive that I like, just not this one.

Posted

Know Your Enemy is certainly the worst song, and it sucks how that was like the first song many green day fans heard because of it being a single... why would they make THAT the single? the rest of the album is great tho..

Christian's Inferno is probably my favorite song and you guys are all hating on it.

what the hell?

Posted

See The Light i like it, but it falls last on my list

I'm not too fond of Christian's Inferno right now...

O.o how can Restless Heart Syndrome have 8 votes when Song of the Century has 0?? RHS is one of my favorites on the album! SOTC is less than a minute and no one's voted for it yet?

I will not settle for this tomfoolery!

my question to all listeners: why do you dislike Christian's Inferno?

because it doesn't sound like every other song they've made, or the fact that it's too weird for you usual standards?
