gd_castaway08 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I skip the first three tracks because Song of the Century doesn't even count. I listened to the demo of 21st Century Breakdown like 200 times before the album was released. And...KYE has reached AI status with me; it's fun live but overplayed.I generally skip Christian's Inferno because I always have the urge to sing Supermodel Robots when it starts. I also skip Restless Heart Syndrome because I can't stand the first line. "Really" just seems out of place; they should have gone with "very" perhaps...I dunno.Peacemaker, Last of the American Girls, Murder City and Viva la Gloria (Little Girl) are my favorites. Primarily because they're back to back and they all kick ass.
Juliette Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 The more I listen to this album, the more I realize there isn't a single song I want to skipSame. Though I wish I hadn't listened to the leaked songs before cause now they seem... idk, not as much a part of it as the others :/
Snorri Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 i tend to skip last night on earthme too. I don't really like that song.
depardu42 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Peacemaker. The "hey hey hey hey hey hey hey" parts sometimes make me want to rip my ears off.
gd_castaway08 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Peacemaker. The "hey hey hey hey hey hey hey" parts sometimes make me want to rip my ears off. It makes me want to dance =)
bjrules Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 What's with Viva la gloria? (Little girl getting so many votes? I love that song, one of the best on the album.
Heather! Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Peacemaker. The "hey hey hey hey hey hey hey" parts sometimes make me want to rip my ears off. Really?I lovelovelove the way Billie's voice sounds during that part. Charlatans and Saints is my favorite act, probably because it's the loudest and catchiest (other than RHS). I like all of the songs on it.See the Light is probably my least favorite song. There's nothing about it that really stands out to me.And LNOE I have a hard time getting into when I listen to it, for some reason. Same with Before the Lobotomy. I don't like the beginning at all compared to the second half of the song, when it gets louder. Though I gotta say, the lyrics are incredible.
AndrewSon Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I'm shocked so many ppl do not like LNOE.. the first time I heard it was on youtube hearing the fox theater performance; i instantly feel in love with that song and played it like all the time.. I think the album version of it is great, billie's vocals are so good in that song, but i feel it should swtich to another type of part.. like it feels like it's missing another type of verse or something... it stays the same throughout the song, but its still one of my favs from this album
The Disappearing Boy Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 That is sooo Coca Cola execution.why do you keep posting that?
Ally Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 why do you keep posting that?cos they are either being stupid or they are trying to say they dont like static age or both
Extraordinary Girl. Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Mine's 'Last Night On Earth', it's too repetative. It's just like, 'I love you. Did you hear me? I effin' love you. I'm sending my heart to you!'
Snorri Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 21 Guns and East Jesus Nowhere.Ehmm.... WHAT ?!?!?!?!?!?
badwolf Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 21 Guns and East Jesus Nowhere. WHAT?!See The Light is the worst in my opinion. I lose interest 1 second into it. I'm not crazy about it.
MusicalDeviant Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Least Favorite? That implies that you love them all. And I don't love every song on this album. Reword your question, and get back to me.
RebelofSuburbia Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Mine's 'Last Night On Earth', it's too repetative. It's just like, 'I love you. Did you hear me? I effin' love you. I'm sending my heart to you!'agreed. I don't like it musically either.
Clayish Posted June 3, 2009 Author Posted June 3, 2009 Least Favorite? That implies that you love them all. And I don't love every song on this album. Reword your question, and get back to me.Um, the question is fine? What song do you like the least? Jeeze....
Waffles Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 See The Light is the worst in my opinion. I lose interest 1 second into it. I'm not crazy about it. Yes. Happens the same to me.
LilyMarie Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Last Night On Earth.I don't do sappy. However, I didn't think I liked 'Redundant' at first either, and it really grew on me after a while...
_all_is_well_ Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 I voted for See The Light. It's not even bad, it just unremarkable...so far. What part does everyone not like about Christian's Inferno? The verses or the chorus?Oh OK, I read some of the earlier posts...so the verses and chorus don't really fit together. I kind of agree with that. I would've liked them to have taken the sound of the verses and developed that further.I dont like the cheesy "woah christians inferno *maniacall laughter" ; its good but not my favorite. It was between that and KYE, which is just not idk not my taste good but not my taste.
persons Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 21st cb is my least favorite album from them so it's hard to deside, probably restless heart syndrome, 21 guns, viva la gloria (little girl), 21st century breakdown, and before the lobotomy. but cause i couldn't vote for more that one, i voted restless heart syndrome.
Samantha Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 I'm changing my answer to See The LightIts a weird song to end the album with... it doesn't really wrap anything up, Whatsername was an amazing mellow way to wrap up AI
