Greenforaday101 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I think KYE is fine in context of the rest of the album. Musically it's good and energetic, the lyrics are repetitive though, but in context it's a good rallying cry for the main characters of the story.
jose armstrong Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I can see why is KYE, I hate it toobut Christian's Inferno in secnd place?you all can go to hell
Guest Shangri-La Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 i still think Before The Lobotomy is pretty lame, and just kind of weird. But i soooooooo love christian's inferno and hate everyone who voted it the worst.it sounds like a misfits song.
one8two Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 why is everyone hating on Christian? It's like the network. It's fantastic.B.T Lobotomy for me.
N A I Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 ¡Viva La Gloria!i don't hate it, but its just not that surprising for me.
Banan Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Why does this tread have over 10 pages, and the "favorite song on the album" only 4?
novacaine_kid Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 My mind changes alot on this issue. I'm not so sure know your enemy is my least favorite anymore. i will go for see the light. purely cause it reminds me of a u2 song. but its still not an awful track by any means
Harriet Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 ?Viva La Gloria? Little Girl for me. Sounds way too much like Misery off Warning
Anja Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Right now its Restless Heart Syndrom but this song is growing on me more and more so soon there will be no song that I like the least
Velocity Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I don't have a least favorite but, like most people, think Know Your Enemy isn't that good compared to the rest of the album. But I think I'm probably one of the only ones here who really wasn't impressed with 21st Century Breakdown (the song). idk, it's something about the chorus that I just don't like that much. It almost makes me glad I didn't listen to the demo because I would have gotten the wrong impression about the album. And the verses in Christian's Inferno are REALLY good but I don't like the chorus much at all. They don't go with each other. And See The Light is good but I don't think it fits as the album's closing song. lol, I shouldn't be so negative. Seriously though, I think the rest of the album is absolutely amazing.
Juju Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I really don't like Christian's Inferno. it irks me.Know Your Enemy is ok, but like Velocity says, it's not as great as the rest of the album.it almost doesn't fit.everything else is beautiful. <3
badwolf Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I love all the songs a lot. I don't have a least favorite. :/
iLozza! Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 American Eulogy. Followed by KYE, which feels to me like it doesn't quite fit.
.Brian Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 why do you all hate christian's inferno? it's pretty cool. it sounds like a mash up off network and misfits for me
Spark of Insanity Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I really did not like Christians Inferno, but now I change my opinion from what I first put in here. After a few more listens I started to like it a lot more, its still not my favorite and I never hated it. But its not that bad. I just can't get it out of my head now.I kind of don't have a least favorite now.
Angela. Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 To be honest, there isn't a song that I don't like. I love each one for it's own little reason. For example, I love Know Your Enemy because it gives me a 'pumped up' feeling. I love Peacemaker because of the guitars. I love East Jesus Nowhere because of the lyrics. And I love Static Age because it just makes me feel good for some reason. Those are just a couple of examples, but all of the songs do something for me, whether it be making me think clearly about a topic, or making me feel a certain way.
.Brian Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Song of the CenturyAmerican EulogyThe Static AgeSee the Lightall great songs dude
Ally Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 after a week of listening to the album...yeah i still can't stand christians inferno...there is just something about it that i can't take too!
Spark of Insanity Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Well yeah, with Christians Inferno, I started to get into the beginning of the song. But by the end I am still not partial too. May take some time for me to like it a bit more. But I see it in a better light now, even though it isn't by far one of my favorites.
Haz Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Christian's Inferno is the worst without a shadow of a doubt. It is just a bunch of horrid noise
dolce Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 If simply judging the songs individually, I would probably have said Know Your Enemy. But, seeing it in the context of the entire album as a whole and how Restless Heart Syndrome ends up relating back to it, there's no way I can't say that I don't like it. This is the best album I've ever heard as an ENTIRE album. Hearing it all together is absolutely stunning. I feel like when more singles start being put out, it won't do the album or how brilliant the writing is any justice, because it's such an epic album when listening to it front to back.
