I didn't really like Peacemaker too much when I first listened to the cd, but now that I've been listening to the entire album on repeat, it's starting to grow on me.

Right now my top five songs (in order by track #) are 21st century Breakdown, Viva La Gloria, Last of the American Girls, Horseshoes and Handgrenades and See the Light. But this album so far is striking me as one of the best I've heard at least since American Idiot, maybe even before. Over time, Before the Lobotomy, Last Night on Earth, East Jesus Nowhere, Murder City, Restless Heart Syndrome, The Static Age, 21 Guns and American Eulogy could be in my top five in some form. That's almost the entire album, lol. The story and lyrics can be very abstract or vague at times but the album is relentlessly catchy, this might be Green Day at their very best yet in terms of songwriting. We might have another modern classic on our hands.

Someone mentioned it before and I agree - I really think the previews that were put out by Reprise really ruined the song for the hardcore fans since we listened to that chorus repeatedly and quickly became sick of it before the whole song came out.

It also didn't help that the 1st teaser that was released for the album had that one minute long continuous guitar strumming...

that AND the teaser for KYE made ppl kinda sick of it...

I felt that way too. It was SO repetitive. But after I heard the whole song, I liked it a lot better.

It's still not my fave though...but it's good.
