If you listen to punk for intellectual purposes then I suggest you go to a library right now.

Ha funny

MY art teacher said name a band who's brought something different to the rock.

And I was about to open my mouth and he says, " No not Green Day." dhjgksdjgjakd;

Oh hush. =P I think if you turn to any music for intelligence, you need to read a book.

The Office is like the funniest show on TV. Did you watch that episode? It was like 3 episodes ago.

yeah, it was hillarious; it's probably my second favorite show next to Seinfeld and maybe tied with Scrubs and Monk.

Scrubs in the best show ever. After Malcolm on the Middle and Grounded for Life, bien sur.

I need an English to English translator though when watching it on the tube on BBC.

with all their non-sensical talk about birds and fags, I don't quite know if they're talking about girls, cigarettes, or gay people.

Haha, yeah. The people who work in Hot Topic are the worst about it. They really are. Whenever a Green Day song starts playing in there, they'll start going on about posers and fakers and whining about how they sold out and whatever. I always leave when they do that.

And usually, the first thing anyone says to me when I mention Green Day is, "They sold out." I'm like, shut the fuck up, you know??

Hot Topic: Pot-Kettle-black.

I went into a Spencers once wearing a St. Jimmy t-shirt and the conversation was as follows:

Cashier: Green Day?

Me: Yeah, I like them a lot.

Cashier: Poser.

Me: What?

Cashier: C'mon, what's the first album you bought?

Me: Kerplunk!

Cashier: Yeah, making up obscure album names to trick me into thinking you're a dedicated fan isn't going to work.

Weird thing like that happened to me before. Except it was french class. My friend had brought his guitar that day. He played the start of Good Riddence and my french teacher is like "Yes, we all like green day. but save it for after french okay?" and me and my friend were both just like WTF!? cuz this lady doesn't seem like the type to be a fan she is uptight and a little ocd so it was just like omg she listens to green day!? such a weird thing when teachers suddenly seem human not evil.

I don't.

I got rid of that shirt after two years of it being skin tight.

but it was bright red and had a picture of a St. Jimmy-like character on it with a bar over his eyes and wings. And it said Green Day.

I think I bought it at Hot Topic, no less. :ermm:

Yeah, there was a little group of people in my year outside my locker, and I opened it to get my books. One of them saw the Green Day magnet I had on the inside, and said loudly to his friends so I would hear, "You wanna know a band I don't like? Green Day." like he was waiting for me to defend them or something. I smiled and walked away.

But it's so funny watching my best friend if I ever mention Green Day. She sort of pretends to get excited, like when I said Green Day were coming to Belfast, she was like, "Awesome!!" but I know she doesn't really give a damn.

Haha :D that´s so funny ! I stopped talking about them cuz people always think like it´s the ONLY band I ever listen to.. annoing
