St. Jimmy of New York Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 I am not going to be able to do this either. I of course would love to meet them and have a signed cd and all but if I can get tickets to one of there concerts that next week I will be beyond content
SkippyNXC Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 meh... not a fan of the cd signing/meet n greets... unless ur like one of the 1st or last ppl to go the bands are tired n cranky n could care less about signing CD number 150 LOL plus last time i went to a cd signing i had to get there at 2pm the day prior n i was like the 100th person in line
BassChick_GD Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hmm, I could definitely make it up there. I'll be done classes....and I could use a getaway.
Robin105 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I'm from Long Island! I can't go to this cause I gotta work at my shitty job
jetsrule128 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 if i get there at 7 do you think i will be one of the first 500?i really don't want to camp out
IzButt Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Oh poo. Now would be a good time for me to wish myself an airplane. Not gonna happen.
check Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Crap, I was supposed to be in NYC that weekend, but I'm going the weekend after now, instead. Oh well.
Vanilla Shake Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Fucking school must inhibit me from being at Best Buy as soon as it opens just to get the album with the wristband. Oh well, at least there's hope for seeing their concert at the Garden. And no cameras? Fuck that shit.
The One with the Yellowy Eyes Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 if i get there at 7 do you think i will be one of the first 500?i really don't want to camp outsame here... camping out in NYC kinda skeeves me out
Guest 16PaperLanterns Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 No cameras? pathetic.I wouldn't call it pathetic. They just don't want to be blinded.edit: oh and, boo NYC :C
*withoutadoubt* Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 same here... camping out in NYC kinda skeeves me out Jeez! Hell no! I think it'd be fun to sit on a dirty sidewalk all night and chat with fellow obesessives about my favorite subject. Hmmm...maybe hubby is right, and I AM crazy, lol. Maybe it's just cause I live here, and I am used to it. *shrugs* It's not pretty to some people, but to me, NYC has so much life, and a magic about it, and I love living here. No really - I know how much fun it is to sit in line all day and wait to see them. It is almost as fun as seeing them. I've spent priceless hours sitting on a sidewalk and waiting. Good times.
Anko Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 It sucks that it's no where near where I live.If there was something like this comming to FL I'd go,but I would dress as L
Bexie. Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 i agree with what some of the other people on here are saying.. id rather meet them 'accidently' or like after a gig or something... dont get me wrong though.. i wouldnt pass up a meet and greet if i won it or something, but lining up for a million hours for about 2minutes with them.. isnt exactly my thing if you know what i mean..
Katherine Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I'm most likely not going to this. I'm already spending enough money on tickets and travelling to each show, I can't go jump on a train and go to NYC. Besides, I've been to several meet and greets, they're the definition of awkward.Have fun and good luck to those who plan on going though!
The Disappearing Boy Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 well. thats pretty cool.but wrong country and wrong venue, if you ask me
son Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 im hoping to be there before 630 am, and i hope it wont be 500 people camping out. there is little promotion as i know, and not many people lined up at 7 am to get free bon jovi tickets for central park last year

As gross as I find NYC, I do agree that its fun to wait all day on line.I did it at Webster last October for another band. I probably said that already but whatever hahai agree >>fuck americaGreen Day is from America. You fail.
