I just won tickets to see green day in paris tomorrow and I CAN'T GO. It starts at 7 (sharp, I've heard) and there's no way I can be in paris before 8.30. Fuck this!

*cries*

I seem to be the only one that isn't fascinated with 21 Guns. It's an okay song but I don't think it's all that ~ amazing ~.

I love it but I'm not fascinated with it. I much prefer ¡Viva La Gloria!, Last Night On Earth, Murder City, and others.

My head for the past three or so days has been filled with random parts of all the songs

I have about 7 songs all competing to be my favourite. At the moment, the three songs I like the least are See The Light, Last Night On Earth and Before The Lobotomy, although the latter is starting to grow on me. :)

^ lol same! i've had an odd mixture of Song of the Century, Christian's inferno, Horseshoes and Handgrenades and American Eulogy stuck in my head all day.

Peacemaker makes me dance like a retard when I'm listening to it. After hearing 20 sec of it on YouTube I knew it's gonna be a great song.

Listening to Murder City now, I prefer the live version. It's more powerful and all. But still one of my favourites :)

See the Light is my favorite. Not the best lyrics nor the best riffage, but that song is magical

Lol, I've had just like one or two lines from most of the songs, after the other, then repeated. They include "A fire burns today...", "I'M NOT FUCKIN' AROUND", "I don't wanna live in the modern world", "Waging a war and losing the fight", "I'm a victim of my system" and of course my favourite little part after the chorus in Last Of The American Girls.

Static Age has become one of my favs, the lyrics are brilliant and I love the climax of the song.

Just sounds too much familiar... not fresh enough to these ears.

I'm getting to the point where I've listened enough that I know most of the lines in a song, but I don't know all of them. Therefore, when I sing the songs, I sound like Helen Keller at least 50% of the time.

^ lmfao same here!

and go figure, East Jesus Nowhere was probably my least favortie on the album 3 days ago...and now im constantly wanting to listen to it.

i mean, 21Guns is a nice song, i just dont personally identify with the lyrics, which is the only thing holding me back from being as in love with it as everyone else seems to be. KYE has hopelessly become not my most disliked song anymore- those repedative riffs and lyrics are really damn catchy!

Peacemaker is awesome, i just love the way it sounds and everything! almost like it's something off Warning but better<3

 It's the same with me XD

When I listen to EJN, I can kinda imagine Billie on a podium at a rally or something....

This is my fourth time listening to this CD today since 1 PM. I need to stop.

Haha, I would say I know about 50% of the lyrics off by heart too. It's funny when I'm singing out loud, I'm kinda like, "THE FIRE BURNS TODAY, OF blaaammabla uh dumdacide..." :P

Viva La Gloria reminds me of the Influents' "Some of the Young"

This may be my favorite album. I love it. It is really fighting 39/Smooth right now.

I've listened to it way more than that. It's been on repeat for quite a while now.

Me too :D

Yeah, I've been dealing with the same 50% lyrics things....I mostly remember the beginnings of songs, though.

lol i just know random lines of songs, out of order, so i end up lumping them together like

"hey gloria, are you standing close to the edge?

the cracks of my skin can prove as the years will testify"

and then there's the songs where i know all the words to: Before the Lobotomy, Murder City and Last Night on Earth (and 21stCB if you count the demo).

Posted

i know the lyrics for BEFORE THE LOBOTOMY, Viva La Gloria, Little Girl, Murder City, 21st Century Breakdown, See The Light, Static Age, Last Night on Earth, Peacemaker

[ps: i'm brazillian]

I'm starting to like Last of the American Girls a lot. and Static Age. I used to be a bit skeptical about those two.

The Gloria's are growing on me more. Especially Viva la Gloria?. It's so scathing and bratty, that you can almost feel Gloria's vulnerability and self-doubt.

Posted

one song that are growing on me is LAST NIGHT ON EARTH...

I didn't liked it...

but...now...

i'm falling in love with it...
