SynthwaveTrooper Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 i had downloaded the album.but the quality is not good as from the streaming sites.it's annoying.i sent you a PM with a link, it's a CD rip. use it.
Fulano Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 RunawayTo your lost tranquilityAnd find yourself with your face in the gutterYou're a stray for the dregs of humanityThere is no place like homeWhen you got no place to goare the lyrics wrong? On the song i dont hear "to you lost tranquility" line.....
peepee Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I downloaded a great rip from Pirate Bay. Great quality. I really advise you to buy the album though. Internet really ruined the appreciation for music. When I was younger it was the best feeling in the world to run to the store to buy a new album and listen it through with the lyrics sheet and all. Now day a song is leaked here, another there and then there are streaming albums and torrents. You cant fight it. It really ruins music. It's like getting everything for free. You stop appreciating it.
Fulano Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I'm in love with the album on internetBut i'll buy...5/15 is the day that i'll receive the pay of my work. When i'll go out of scholl, i'll go to the shopping ibirapuera with my debit card to buy the CD *.*
Boston Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Both links in the first post don't work for me, and when I tried to listen on VH1.com, it doesn't work either (I've tried to install the plug-ins I'm missing). GIVE ME LINK NOW!
Boston Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I'm feeling elements of The Beatles, The Who, nu-wave metal, and Spring Awakening (i.e. the rock musical) in this album.
The Punk Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Im in love with the album... The following songs are, to me, the best on the album:- 21st Century Breakdown- iViva la Gloria!- Christians Inferno (The Network right here)- East Jesus Nowhere (Growing on every listen)- Peacemaker- ?Viva la Gloria?- Horseshoes And Handgrenades (Foxboro Hot Tubs)- 21 Guns- American Eulogy- See the LightThese Songs are amazing. The Whole album is, but i can't stop listening to these ones. Love It, just love the album
.Holly Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 http://www.wmuk-apache.co.uk/greenday/player.swfwmuk is working for me, maybe that's only in the uk though. Some of my friends just don't get why I have my iPod in my ears constantly, they just don't seem to get it. It's like I NEED music, the day would feel wierd if it was'nt there. Like Green Day, I don't think I've ever gone a day when I haven't listened to them (apart from when I go camping...), they're just a part of my life and always will be.
jose armstrong Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I really don't wanna compare AI to 21CB, but if any song is BOBD is Restless or 21 guns, in the sense that both are truly moving, not in musical copy and paste kind of way. Billie did accomplished what he said of not cashing in on AI, because it's cheap and they stuck it to itI think 21 guns is the WMEWSE of this album
permanent_insanity Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 the widget page wont work outside of the UK anymore, now what? I cant find the supposed leak VH1 was going to do...
.Holly Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I think 21 guns is the WMEWSE of this albumThe verse parts of 21 guns sound totally like BOBD, the base line and drum is almost identical, i think anyway. still a good song though...
permanent_insanity Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 ya i had trouble finding it tooif you find it could you send me a link?EDIT: I found itThe VH1 Leak
Boston Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Supporting my thought that Christian is in a battle with God (why He made the world so corrupt, a battle of whether or not to believe anymore) "I crossed the desertReaching higher ground <- like a pilgrimage Then I pound the pavementTo take the liars down" <- can't accept the world he's in
jose armstrong Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 The verse parts of 21 guns sound totally like BOBD, the base line and drum is almost identical, i think anyway. still a good song though...I don't mean sound
Boston Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 The Static Age had the most meaning, but East Jesus Nowhere was my favorite.
permanent_insanity Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 i dont need it i already have the album i just wanted to show sum1 else I'm buying it next Saturday, so for now I'm relying on the leak....
b u r n o u t Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I would bet money that (I Just) Died in Your Arms Tonight by Cutting Crew was the influence for See the Light. They sound too eerily similar.
amy_runs Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Wake Me Up When September EndsI know but he put WMEWSE.... lol
The Punk Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Stop comparing, beacuse 21 guns completely slays every song on AI
