When actually it was pretty Punk Rock!By the time Holiday came out (which would have been the right choice for single number2), the "people" had already formed that stupid opinion.omg.. you just made me realize... Green Day are very very smart at marketing, they released "Know Your Enemy" first as a single cause it's so AI and people will eat that up and buy the album because of the closed minded ways of thinking it will sounds just like AI.

This release will surely go down as legendary, as we all knew it would. Its to soon to choose a single favorite as they are all so good, but so far my favorites are21st CenturyBDBefore the Labotomy.....truely got Billie Bumps listening, his voice in the beginning is so very sultry,and his range..mmmmm Last Night on Earth.....more Billie Bumps and even got teary his voice is so very lovely,"my beating heart belongs to you".....*melts* East Jesus Nowhere..... just a BA rockin song Peacemaker.....keep replaying this one, so up beat and fun!(granted I don't know the lyrics yet lol!)Restless Heart Syndrome...again Billie's voice so beautiful,and the background instrumental so nice21 Guns.....leaves me breathless once again. God love you Green Day and Billie Joe....you've out done yourselves once again!!!!!xoxo

All I can do is listen to the record over and over again. How did they do it again? How did they make another amazing record? Seriously ... every song is flawless. I love how it's a perfect mix of Warning and American Idiot, not to mention The Network and Foxboro Hot Tubs. Based on the overall sound of this record, I imagine that a few of these songs [or some reincarnation of them, since they wouldn't be writing about our current global situation] may have appeared on 'Cigarettes and Valentines' if it had been released... and I would have been MORE than okay with that!I can not wait to see Green Day perform these songs live.
