Split Green Day / General

I come here to read about Green Day, not to read about what an emo day you little fucks are having, or how many shit stains your underwear's sporting at the mo'. I don't care to read your opinions on general 'world news' and the like, either.

So splitting the two forums would be deliiiiiightful for me. x] Heyyyy ohhhhhh.

i know that for us green day is big enough for CNN, but still, it might be better to put both things apart

Judging by the higher percentage here that want it split so far, it feels like it is merged at the moment because the minority are too lazy to go into a different page for the general waffle. I have always hated the general pages. They are split in every other forum you go into. I do however still find myself having to go into the Green Day topics and the general page because the latest news on the band is annoyingly always in the general first.

Please do, there's too much going on just now for the general waffle. I keep missing posts on the band because of it. The topics page never seems as up to date as this one with the latest news. It would be great on days we are pushed for time.

And just which part of the statement regarding the topics page not being as up to date wasn't clear to you? We don't all have the time to wade through the general waffle and post thousands of messages.

Half the time when the posts are finally found on the topics page the download links etc. have been removed by then. The latest news is always at the top of the green day/general chat page. Do you need an arrow to point with?

You want the GD threads separated, there's an option that only gives the GD threads.

Yes, it might not be really up-to-date all the time, but that won't improve much when you separate the threads, since the people who want the Green Day threads will look for those and post anyway.

Surely the latest Green Day news is easy to find on the mixed page ? It's usually pinned at the top or on the front page anyway. It really doesn't take long to look at the next page if it's not.

Surely it would be less time consuming for the minority to click on a general chat tab than for everyone else to have to wade through tons of crap? Cmon! I find the green day news disappears very quicky cos people post inane garbage all day. There's only so many posts at the top of the page and it's changing constantly just now.
