Demo or album version

well since im listening to the album version now i think you know my choice. i think all the songs ripped from the radio special are horribly compressed. im sure its the radio special though. they will be crystal clear on the album im sure. im glad that we did have the leak though. i mean i didnt want the whole album to leak but i didnt want none of it to leak. i think it was an exellent appatiezer (sp?) and a good look at Billie Joe's songwriting.

Well I adored the demo and I never imagined it could get any better. HOW WRONG I WAS! The album version is just on a whole new level of brilliance. Love the way you can really hear the harmonies on the chorus, love the even more impressve build-up to the guitar solo at the end, love the clearer sound, love everything.

But I still really like the demo, I'm sure I will give it a listen from time to time.

I like the demo version a little more.

I'm so used to singing From Mexico to Berlin wall

Ha I can't get used to singing the new version at all, I always get it wrong. Especially "The last one born and the first one to run", the new way just sounds funny. It'll sound natural eventually though.

I voted both though I can't get used to the album version. Especially to the 'videogames to the tower's fall' part. But it's a matter of time.

Definitely the albumversion. It has more power, the vocals are better and it's just generally better.

The leaked demo had more power in the lyrics so I'd go for demo version of 21st CB

The album version, just because it feels like it has more of an impact and sort of sets the scene for the rest of the album. But I agree with the posts above, I keep singing "From Mexico to the Berlin Wall", and then realising I'm totally wrong.

i love the cleanness of the final one, but for some reason i like the irish jig part of the demo.

Album version is a lot better i think. Even without the cool piano intro. It just sounds more beefed up, a little faster too which is good. It also flows a lot better, and billie's vocal range is broader. I really like this song now, thought the demo was rather meh, but this is great stuff

But I like the both version.

The album version has more energy, it pumps the blood in my veins so much.
