21 guns - Best song green day have ever done!...yeah...I know lots of people have said that, but it's true. Great lyrics, smooth sounding vocals, epic sound quality, and great instrumentation. Of course, since this might be a single, I bet in 4 months, this might become overplayed so I'll enjoy it while it's still fresh!

I was listening to Dark Side Of Night (FBHT) yesterday, and I just have to say it:

A tiny bit of the beginning of that chorus sounds like the beginning of the chorus in East Jesus Nowhere.. kinda.

Do other people hear that too?

I've only listened to the new songs once, so idk, can't wait for May 15!

But so far, I love the songs! RHS's my favorite already

For me RHS is the most suprising song. All the reviews in the build up to this album have been focusing on that 21 guns and EJN and the other ballads like last night on earth . RHS kinda came out of nowhere and is brilliant.

I think I know what you mean, it definitely has some of that Foxie vibe to it, which is of course a good thing! That "I'll be dressed up in my Sunday best" part is filthy and it sounds like it's straight from the Rev's mouth.

I love the repeated "I don't wanna live in the modern world" bit of American Eulogy. It makes me smile because it just makes me think of their techno-phobic ways

21 Guns and EJN are really good songs.

American Euology reminds me of deadbeat holiday but the tempo is a bit faster.

Why is 21 Guns 12 minutes long?

East Jesus Nowhere was not what I had expected. It was way better..

And Before The Lobotomy.. Well, it's different. Good different, though.

I guess it was just a mistake, I used Wavepad to cut the silence off the end after I downloaded it

yea, that was my mistake, i'm sorry.

but i was doing every at the same time as fast as possible so you folks could hear it as soon as possible.

but if you download the new ones, this is corrected. and its also better quality. (less gain, less treble, more bass and mid.)

Does anyone else think that American Eulogy is like a super amazing fusion of Deadbeat Holiday on crack and Homecoming? That's what it kind of reminds me of. Needless to say, it's my favorite song of the 7 released so far. Probably the least commercial though?
