Peel Slowly And See Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Whoever did these mp3s I'm listening to did a really awesome job. You can't even tell they are from the radio. No talking, nothing.I think there's a tad before and after American Eulogy, but 21 Guns and East Jesus Nowhere are incredibly well done.
Princess Consuela Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Oh, I didn't refresh it in a while. That's without the songs? Thanks I downloaded it. No songs
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I downloaded it. No songs That's nice Now downloading it
.Holly Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Just been for a run whilst listening to the new songs. It's amazing how much faster I can go when listening to East Jesus Nowhere. The song is nothing short of epic

Ila Reto Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 awe when i saw this thread i almost teared up, cuz my computer screwed me over 2 mins before the broadcast started and i thought i'd never get to hear it! thank you so much Alexandrez (and Andres for allowing the links obviously)!
alexandrez Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 SOMEONE HELLO PUHLEASEEE;is the interview without the songs available somewhere? If not, I'll just download the whole thing, and skip the songs, but I prefer to not do that since that way I risk hearing little parts of songs I don't wanna hear yet. see the first post of this thread.I think there's a tad before and after American Eulogy, but 21 Guns and East Jesus Nowhere are incredibly well done.yes. if you people have my version (those are the ones on GDA and on this thread's first post too) i tried to cut the talking a lot, but i was doing it under the pressure because i was recording the show, editing and listening and posting everything at the same time.im posting in about 5 mins a more treated version of the songs. better cut and better quality. better EQ too.
fashionvictim86 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I think there's a tad before and after American Eulogy, but 21 Guns and East Jesus Nowhere are incredibly well done.My verison doesn't have any talking. It just starts out with Billie singing. And theres nothing after.
skully Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 thanks Alexandrez for uploading the songs your a saintthanks Alexandrez for uploading the songs your a saint
greenbear Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Many thanks to Alexandrez and the others who ripped these for us all to enjoy.I loved the excitement and comments on here last night (even If I can't type fast to join in!) Everyone was having so much fun I'm totally bowled over by what I've heard so far. Its difficult to get fully into the songs after only a few listens because there' just so much in them, so many layers and nuances to discover. I'm also trying not to over listen because I don't want to too familiar with them. This way I can appreciate the final event that is the playing of the album for the first time from start to finish in all its glory. I think any of those played last night are so good they would all make ideal singles. My favourite is East Jesus Nowhere. Before the Lobotomy is a real grower and its getting better with every listen. I actually prefer Restless Heart Syndrome to 21 Guns for now but it could all change. I love them all. I can't wait to hear the rest but I think I'll wait for May 15th.
alexandrez Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 All 6 songs now available on Media Fire on this link:http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=66f95a8...be6ba49b5870170they are a better cut version and a treated version. less gain, less treble, more bass in the mix.sounds closer to the CD i think.enjoy omg thankyou thankyou thankyou Alexandres and Prozackairplane awe when i saw this thread i almost teared up, cuz my computer screwed me over 2 mins before the broadcast started and i thought i'd never get to hear it! thank you so much Alexandrez (and Andres for allowing the links obviously)!no problem!

Harun Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I love all the songs. I think EJN is an amazing piece of work. It reminds me a bit of Holiday but a million times better. Definitely the best of the bunch. The second part of American Eulogy is great. Very upbeat and energetic. The melody is very catchy. I can definitely see me jumping up and down at the concert. I hate the first part though. It basically has the same melody as Deadbeat Holiday. Recycling at its best imo.Although 21 guns and Restless Heart Syndrome are amazing songs, they're a bit too reminiscent of BOBD. I think Billie Joe split BOBD into 2 different songs and come up with 21 guns and Restless Heart Sydrome. 21st Century Breakdown and Before the Lobotomy are big epic songs. These songs really show progression. I love them.
Ila Reto Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 im so loving Before the Lobotomy...naturally, because it's been my favorite since i heard it live on youtube. but im still a bitter fan, i refuse to listen to 21st Century Breakdown because i will forever love the demo and not the final version.
Green Jay Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Ok so I downloaded the full interview and no songs were on it. This is a sign to wait for the CD!
