Ok, NOW I don't really know if I should listen or not. I want everything, but I don't want to spoil the album and the anticipation and the happyness with hearing it for the first time - whole.

Listen to it. You won't regret it.

Here's how I see it:

If you can stay strong enough not to listen, then don't. A part of me wishes I hadn't. But if you do buckle, don't beat yourself up. It's here for us to enjoy now, and there's nothing wrong with listening. It's some awesome music, andI can't wait to hear the rest of it.

Hi everybody

I have sth 2 say for the people who share the songs here in the forum.

I myself believe not only what u do is bad but it is the best damn thing that u can do. because the money that we pay for this album is not high at all that makes anyone prefer these mp3s to the original quality. everybody who is interested in green day will go and buy the cd whether u share them here or not because original quality is sth else. but the only thing that happens when u share the mp3s here and sounds fuckin good 2 me is this that people who really are green day fans but don't have any access 2 the CD and it's illegally 2 be sold in their country will able 2 listen 2 green day like us and I fuckin believe it's great

Don't listen.

But I'm from the not-listening camp, you should just decide for yourself. I didn't listen it when I wasn't sure, and I'm happy with that. But it's your decision

Maybe do what i did and only download 2. I got 21st Century Breakdown, because i'd already heard the demo anyway, and i got 21 Guns just to see what all the fuss was about. It's not like illegally downloading it or anything.

American Euology sounds like Deadbeat Holiday a bit. And East Jesus Nowhere sounds sorta like Welcome to Paradise at this part:

A fire burns today

Of blasphemy and genocide

The sirens of decay

Will infiltrate the faith fanatics

It was still amazing. I love Before the Lobotomy the best! It was great. And East Jesus Nowhere was fantastic too. All of them were! I can't until next week.

Is there also a download of only the interview without the songs, or do I just have to download the full interview for that and skip the songs?

*scrapes throat*

My thoughts:

21 Guns: Like an improved version of BoBD, but very unique on it's own. The song is a masterpiece, made me cry like a baby just by the feeling on Billie's voice. Just epic, nothing else t describe it.

21st Century Breakdown: A huge improvement over the demo, i just don't like how the line "from mexico to the berlin wall" has been replaced, it had so much power behind it. Very good song, but getting too overplayed already

American Eulogy: This song is just green day at it's best. A lot of melody, singing by Mike, some great re-used melodies (Deadbeat holiday, westbound sign in times). The lyrics are powerful too. Obvious single material

Before the Lobotomy: The begging is very good, but the "heavy part" is lacking in melodies. Still sounds too much like Homecoming. Not to fond on this one

East Jesus Nowhere: Great song, with some really powerful lyrics and a lot of good melodies. The guitar riff is crappy, but the song as a whole is very good.

Restless Heart Syndrome: Beautiful song, just perfect in the theme of the album. not too much "green day like" material thought
