Why am I hearing what sounds like parts of an interview with Billie Joe in restless heart syndrome? Doesn't sound as though it's part of the song at all

Haha they were being interviewed on the radio show in between the songs, you can download the interview parts in the first post. It's like having little intros to the songs, I quite like it

Not liking Breakdown...they fucked with something that was already epic.

I thought that too... but only in the beginning. Now I think that it's better than the demo, because it all fits together and sounds more round, the lyrics and the music fit together better.

Wow! I love restless heart syndrome. 21st Century Breakdown definately sounds a lot more powerful and heavy, I think its sounds better. Also it was nice hearing them introduce the songs. Can't wait to here the rest of the album now

'Warner Bros UK just sent out an update. They write that Green Day are currently in the UK, where they filmed an episode for Abbey Road today and will be recording one for Zane Lowe tomorrow. No word yet on air dates.

And The Sun in the UK will have the live stream of 21st Century Breakdown a week early, along with Rhapsody and MTV/VH1.'

I hope it is one of the Abbey Road sessions. Brilliant.

Just think - American Idiot, but with a more fleshed out sound. They sound bolder, more full, and way more confident. Then, also think - Billie Joe, showing his best vocal abilities to date (hitting falsettos perfectly).

I mean, you are in for a treat J'Net. We all are.

I keep starting to say I can't wait, but I guess I CAN wait. It's not easy, but I think I'm going to be so glad to hear the album as a whole in the best possible quality. I think it'll be worth it. Reading all the comments here is making me so happy and even more excited.

But, OMFG, it is SO hard right now. I'm going to have to find something to distract myself with.

I commend you, because no way I could do this lol I came in here last night, and seeing everyone was so excited and gushing, and there was no way I could stop myself from getting a hold of new Green Day lol And I'm glad I did, it's helped me feel better.

But I would like to wait until next Friday to hear the rest of it, to have the experience of buying the cd and listening to some of those songs for the first time. I hope I can wait. But I doubt I will lol I'm too weak.

its the day after. First of all, I can't pick a favorite. I'm in love with all of the new songs. I wish I could pick a favorite.

Also, this is all sinking in. I mean, we all know the new album is here. But now its really 'here.' The new era has officially begun. We can't turn back.

This album is officially going to be better than American Idiot. And I couldn't be more grateful.

Can't complain really after the amount I've listened to these 6 songs today.

What's people's play counts like over the day?

I'm on 35 in total adding up each song individually (7 plays of 21st Century Breakdown being the most played) but I also listened to some Nimrod and American Idiot. It's been nothing but Green Day all week.

Also got Hearts Collide today and listened to that a few times, the surf guitar solo in it is amazing.

i dont want to give in and listen to all the other songs on the 8th either but... my school is out for over a week cause of swine flu scar (over reaction if u ask me) and i will have nothing better to do. friday will be the hardest day of my life...
