M1KEY Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Quite a mental picture for me every time I hear the song now Well fine then, in that case you're out. Now you can just think of Julian and I and where it might go... Seriously though... I wanna make out with your bro to that song. Badly.
jose armstrong Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 saw the posts about people wondering if Warner Bros. Records is going to start taking these files down. the answer is no we're leaving them alone. if the people want new Green Day, let them have new Green Day. what songs are your favorites? i love East Jesus Nowhere.I swear I didn't notice this postfav song has to be restless heart syndrome.definitelyWell fine then, in that case you're out. Even though I'm a lunatic who refuses to listen until I have the entire album as released, I'm delighted with everything I'm reading, and it's great to hear what my friends have to say about how wonderful it is. This is just increasing my anticipation for 12:01am, Friday, May 15, since I pre-ordered the special edition and will get the digital download. So, I can't tell you my favorite song yet, but my most anticipated is 21 Guns and has been for a while (from everything I've read for weeks now, it sounds amazing, and the reactions here haven't changed my mind). And BTW, do you happen to know what time zone that 12:01am download will be?I'm not going to listen to this yet, but thank you very much for the links, I will download it later I can't wait to hear the album.. .. I'm trying to resist till May 15th and I'm enjoying the interview.. the little bits of the songs are killing me!! hahahHahaha - I decided to wait and listen to the interview after the release because I was afraid of that very thing .I've downloaded everything, though, and I'm ready for May 15 to arrive!!! Only 9 days and 15-ish hours left to wait. I think I'm gonna make it .
Katarina. Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009  My favorite is Restless Heart Syndrome, definitely. And 21 Guns, and East Jesus Nowhere.. Just.. Wow. Totally blown away already!
novacaine_kid Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I feel like the new stuff makes American Idiot look amateur.Totally agree with you. i could never have believed they could follow american idiot with songs as good as this. this album will be the soundtrack to my summer.I feel like the new stuff makes American Idiot look amateur.Totally agree with you. i could never have believed they could follow american idiot with songs as good as this. this album will be the soundtrack to my summer.
NickD Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 i really feel a Descendents influence in Modern World. Maybe.... 'Merican? i like. a lot.i really think this album is gonna kick American Idiot's ass. and then throw it into a pile of poo just to laugh at it. That's how much better it'll be. I'm so excited.

Rita Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I'm totally blown away by East Jesus Nowhere. Amazing. And Restless Heart Syndrome is the awesomeness.
Trotsky Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Restless Heart Syndrome is a song I would have playing on repeat if I was going to OD and die I like it, I could imagine it depressing me if I was depressed at the moment.
Alan86 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 But American Idiot was a masterpiece, so if 21st Century Breakdown is better than a masterpiece, what is it?? They haven't yet invented the words to describe 21st Century Breakdown I might call it a monument of perfection
Trotsky Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 It seems like a step up from American Idiot. I like that the protagonists of the story have actual names this time.
chatnoir Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Haha, I can't manage to focus on all the new songs, because I am so excited about East Jesus Nowhere, that I play it over and over again, including crazy dancing and singing and all that funny ridiculous stuff. I wanna hear this song live!!!!
