Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Isabel, it's awesome! I already saw it on fb, it's really cool. and how could you see a bomb in it? the only similarities are that it's both round with a string-like something attached to it xD
Isabel Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Thanks Sanne! I don't know, he was crazy it was weird though, as soon as we walked into the tattoo shop, Whatsername came on. I was like "Wooooahhhh"
zatpit Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 these are my new tattoos thepic is pretty crap as it was taken just after they were finished
zatpit Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 i can honestly say out of my 7 tattoos theones on my inner wrist hurt the most but i am so happy with them
Isabel Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 They are both lovely tattoos, guys!! Have either of yours started bleeding ink a bit? Like, I'm not trying to get myself paranoid but I know that during the healing process a fuzzy halo line can occur around the main lines of it. I know it can't be blowout yet because I've only have mine for 5 days, but I was just wondering if either of yours are like that? I can't remember if my other tattoos went that way
zatpit Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 yeah mine have bled ink a bit but have dried up a bit now
Isabel Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Yeah, so has mine but you can still see it around all the lines, blehh hope it goes away after the scab falls off. I just wish it looked like it did on day 1

Ingrid Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Love the tattoo, Isabel! Now only if I could muster up the courage to get one of my own...!
Riotgrrl_GD Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Love the tattoo, Isabel! Now only if I could muster up the courage to get one of my own...! DO IT! If you're nervous, start small and pick a spot that's easily covered. Spend a lot of time deciding on the perfect design and STICK IT!
Isabel Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Love the tattoo, Isabel! Now only if I could muster up the courage to get one of my own...! Thank you! Yeah, if it's only fear or actually going and doing it that's holding you back then you should just bite the bullet and do it. That's what I did. I knew I wanted it so I thought "What's the point in holding back and going through life saying 'what if?' all the time?"
Beathe. Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Now only if I could muster up the courage to get one of my own...! Tattoos doesn't really hurt. It just feel like someone is pinching you. You just need to find something that you like.
Ingrid Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Tattoos doesn't really hurt. It just feel like someone is pinching you. You just need to find something that you like. Yeah it's really not the pain or actually getting the tattoo I'm concerned about, I just don't think I'll ever manage to come up with a design I'm so certain about that I'll never regret having it. I can't think of ONE, perfect design. And even after being a devoted fan for five years, and being onstage with and kissing Billie Joe, I'm STILL not sure about getting a GD tattoo or not...! Commitment issues, much? Although I really WANT a Green Day tattoo. But until I'm absolutely sure, I'll just have to wait... I don't want to make any rash decisions.
Beathe. Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 ^ 5 years isn't a long time. I doubt that you're ever going to be a 100% sure of the design anyway. Almost everyone who get's tattooos have second thoughts. Just go for it. I don't know which Green Day related tattoo I want yet, I'll have to finish my leg tattoo design first.
KayNess Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 @Teenage Lust I love those, I was planning on getting something similar when I'm older
NoVaCaInE! Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 the thing with tattoos is you could just as much end up regretting not getting it as you could regret getting it, yknow? Like not to sound morbid but anyone could wake up and go about their normal day and get hit by a bus and die. So when people say "what if im older and hate it and regret it?" I immediately think "what if you end up getting killed tomorrow and you'll never have had the experience of having the tattoo" I mean everyone sees it different ways of course, its just how I see it. When I got my tattoo for like 2 weeks afterwards I kept thinking "what if I've made a mistake in getting this arghhhh" but that feeling went away and I fucking love the tattoo, its a part of me Itd be weird to look at my arm and not see it there now, I think it was just the inital shock of having something permanent on my arm that freaked me out for the first few days (and beleive me I obviously knew it was gonna be permanent before I got it, I just couldnt help but feel like that after actually getting it done )

Seriously though, if someone regrets a tattoo they got later on in life, its not the end of the world! It would be worse to be lying on your deathbed thinking "why the fuck didnt I get that tattoo when I was young " And I realise that I am a very morbid person xD I'd have a Green Day tattoo, only that I cant afford it at the moment I told my sister about getting a GD tattoo and she was like "DONT DO THAT, you could end up HATING them in years to come" But I still think its just a tattoo, and yes its permanent but its not going to rule your life or anything like that And I also think, would I rather have a tattoo that means a lot to me at that specific time, or be a sheep and get tribal stuff all over that doesnt have an ounce of meaning only that its "cool" xD
